Really interesting thoughts. I think it is a lot more open than odds might suggest. Looking forward to seeing how teams develop from here onwards. So far Dallas have impressed me most- really great composure with the ball.
Aaargh I should've changed my pick to Pittsburgh last night, was thinking about doing it but I went to bed early. When in doubt, always go with the home team -_-
Mashup of NFL and MLB logos, this is great. No. This is AWESOME. http://dailysnark.com/nfl-x-mlb-logo-mashup/
Well, I'm afraid an overhaul wouldn't make much of a difference to be honest. The hamster has shown he... ain't top class. I'd say start a long term project while you still can. Look at the Cowboys for example, they used the draft to focus on one aspect, the O-line. Sign the stars on long term deal(Dez Bryant, Witten and are currently offering Murray a 4-year deal) and let the QB do it's thing, which is throwing interceptions and missing the playoffs. But give it time and in a few years time you go from a bottom team to a post-season team. All you need is a long term plan and stick to it.
Tonight(morning) 01:30am San Diego @ DENVER. Wonder if all the hype, energy, and highs from Manning et al on Sunday might leave Denver caught cold by the Chargers tonight? Anyone got a strong opinion on it?
They wouldn't be too cold if in San Diego, as it's in Denver it would be nailed on Broncos for me. Are you able to stay up? I might try to watch the 1st half.
Chargers could win it, temperatures don't matter that much: http://scores.espn.go.com/nfl/recap?gameId=331212007 But Manning is on a roll and should be able to win tonight fairly easy. Also, stats: please log in to view this image The Giants won because Washington just utterly sucks/stinks
Oh man, Kevin Kolb is a mess, never rated him as a QB but still, you never wish this to happen to anyone ever: http://mmqb.si.com/2014/10/23/kevin-kolb-concussions-mexico-hurricane/ I've got tinnitus myself so I know in part how screwed up his life is.
I left out my ear defenders at the range once and my right ear has never been the same after 1 round from an SLR 7.62 going off. Bit of a punt fest in Denver so far.
Really poor 2nd TD for Chargers to give away just before HT. Chargers struggling to make the yardage- need to find some in 2nd half if they are to have a platform.
Looks like Denver have the upper hand, the Chargers look like a team that, in a year or two could win it all.
Chargers just cannot get any momentum. Broncos making easy yards, Chargers making none. Thats the big difference. Could end up a hammering now.
SD get the touchdown and then concede 70 yards in two swoops from another terrible kick off. You just cannot give Denver easy yards.
You outlasted me TC. I've just watched the 2nd half now. Denver look unstoppable as long as Peyton stays fit.
