The Young brothers were born in Glasgow, Cliff Williams was born in Romford, Brian Johnson was born in Gateshead and Bon Scott was born in Forfar.
Non-British might be a bit of a push.

    No, but he said decent.

I've got albums from bands from all over the globe, but I must admit that most of them are by bands from the UK or US.
Might have something to do with the language, but a lot of bands from countries that don't use it as their first tongue still sing in it.

With you on those ones. Metal's pretty universal. You could probably do the alphabet with good non-UK or US bands.
A is for At The Gates, B is for Behemoth...

Good bands or singers not from the US or UK (off the top of my head):

Bob Marley and the Wailers, Toots and the Maytals (sp) and Jimmy Cliff from Jamaica.

Joni Mitchell, Neil Young and Robbie Robertson, from Canada, though Robertson is also Kanien'keháka, I think.

    Bjork from Iceland.

    Fela Kunti (sp), from Nigeria.

Ladysmith Black Mumbazo (sp) from South Africa.

    Ravi Shankhar, from India.

I'm not sure, but I won't forget her again. She really does have a nice, round singing voice.
