fell out with vermin media, took on o2 and after a couple of films get a notice saying 'you have used 90% of your allowance'
Ah right, try here - http://stagevu.com/video/mtjevkouyyoe You'll need the DIVX player (free download) to watch the films on this site, but it's sort of dormant now so it's a bit hit and miss. If you have facebook then add a bloke called 'generic stagevu' and he upload any new releases to streaming sites, and leaves the links on his facebook wall
Back to the OP Lovefilm is a really decent service, take the 30 day trial set up all the films you'd like to see from their library and then they'll randomly select from your list and send them out to you .. I've found it pretty good for Blu Ray's which I don't fancy forking out 18 quid for .. and don't fancy downloading 25GB to get the HD quality .. if you don't like it cancel, if you do sign up to the 4 quid a month basic service for a bit .. Or, if you're a downloader, get an .nzb file searcher (google it) and use your providers news servers (like news.btinternet.com) to download binaries (like video) from usenet .. (or for better performance sign up to a decent newsnet provider) ... better than all that Torrent crap ..
lol you lost me at hello here mate got the first bit but after that ..... I can do all the basic IT stuff, even taught it believe it or not at high school for a bit, got a certificate for IT and all that but its useless for the good stuff
id be careful mate, lovefilm were promoting in town and managed to persuade me into the 30 day trial, kept saying its free and there were no ties, got home 30 mins later, realised i wasnt goin to use it, phoned up to cancel and they charged me a fiver. Id personally just stick to amazon mate.
I like to have a copy on my hard disc. I've got complete collections of Frasier, Cheers, Only Fools, Tales of the Unexpected and the Twilight Zone queued up in uTorrent, will take ages but once it's done I've got them for keeps and no mountain of DVDs.
