I've never been more proud to be a Sunderland fan than Yesterday. Not proud of the team, most of whom through in the towel after 60mins. Not proud of our head coach who hid in the dugout for the last 25mins. But proud of US the supporters who took it on the chin and stood singing to the end. Proud to be among you, we are Sunderland loud and proud. I wish our team were as good as the supporters were Yesterday. FTM.

It might sound insane Bill, but I wish I could've been there ....... everyone has been talking about the support <ok>

As you know, the Chelsea supporters will boo the team off if they fail to win every game.

Our support yesterday was first class. As the old song goes, it's very easy to sing when you're winning ......... well done mate.

Absolutely. Lose 8-0 and they were singing till the very end. Amazing as they always are. Wish I could get to away games but family means those days are occasional at best now. But kudos to every one of those fans who were singing

Late in the match on bbc radio Newcastle, Gary Bennett said are we going to 4-4-2 now ! I laughed and said what formation ?. We have so many players out at the minute and QPR, Burnley, Leicester etc have to come here, I think our home record should be very good this season to keep us up and now bring on Arsenal ! Lets hope the Crystal pal game live on sky is a big improvement. And talking about away games it was easy getting a coach and ticket in the 1980's I went to loads of games when it was about £4 to get in and £5 for the coach. My worst was at Notts county 1-6 ! and 1-3 at sid james 1-1-1985.
