You're in no position but the judge and jury were.

Two stories you say? Why is his more believable? Do tell.

I'm struggling with the medical report 6 hours later that showed she had no alcohol in her bloodstream.

In general though, if she can't remember, I'm surprised he was convicted. It sounds like he's been a total cock, but it also sounds like an unsafe verdict.

The case seems really dodgy to me. Can't help but think if he wasn't a rich footballer there wouldn't even be a case. I think she just hoped to make some money out of it.

Charlie - I think you've mentioned before that you're something of a feminist, seems to me from your posts that the fact she's a woman is playing a big part in your thinking.

Following that logic..shes had to change her name and move. Haven't seen her give any kiss and tell interviews for money. She has had a vile social media driven hate campaign by his family and his millionaire father of his girlfriend. Haven't seen the girls family giving their side for money. He on the other hand got paid 20k a week while in prison and will probably be able to earn considerable amounts for the foreseeable future. Not sure how she hoped to make money out of it given all this. In fact quite the opposite. Ched seems to be the winner in the money stakes so far.

The advocacy of women’s rights on the ground of the equality of the sexes. <---Thats the definition of a feminist. You don't have to be a female to be a feminist btw.

I did ask you for your reasons. You never gave me any.

So you automatically assumed I was a misogynist? That's ironic considering you're one of the most sexist posters on here.

My reason for believing Ched over the girl is because her story is inconsistent and has massive holes in it.

I never said it with any authority because it's a f**ing opinion.

6 hours later? At 10am that morning.

What massive holes in her story? What inconsistencies? Cheds story doesn't have any then I take it? Surprised a jury convicted him on such non existent evidence and the fact the girl lied about everything that night.

His mates filmed her through the bedroom window until the curtains where closed. The film would have shown the state she was in and would have indicated whether she had given consent.

"The expert called by the defence calculated that the complainant's likely blood-alcohol level at about 4am would have approximated to something like 2½ times the legal driving limit. He gave evidence that she would have suffered from slurred speech and unsteadiness of gait, but he would not have expected any memory loss. It was an essential part of his expert evidence that there were significant doubts about the claim made by the complainant that she had suffered a memory loss. In effect, it was suggested that her assertion was false."

She was seen by witnesses who all said she was very drunk. She also had drugs in her system. She had also wet the bed. This last fact is something that people who are very drunk do.

All of that is irrelevant with regards to my post.

She claimed she suffered memory loss when that wasn't the case. The fact she was sick and pissed the bed doesn't change the fact she lied.

According to Ched Evans' legal team she does suffer from memory loss and has done on other occasions.

It doesn't prove she hadn't suffered memory loss at all. Its a medical opinion. Not always correct I hasten to add. The fact that she was sick and wet the bed indicated substantial alcohol intake.

Like a jury's verdict?

Surprised how many people seem to want to defend him when we all have less facts available to us then to the people actually involved in the trial where he was convicted

Bricklayers or engineers don't perform in front of thousands a week, nor are they role models to hundreds of kids.
Well done. I predicted someone would chime in with that.

It's bollocks, of course. The fact that someone plies their trade in front of lots of people is neither here nor there, and - in my opinion - that whole "role model" thing is bullshit, other than how they conduct themselves on the field of play.

Do you not think them being professional footballers could have been a factor?

How is it a FACT that she lied? It's a fact that someone gave a medical opinion no more, no less.
