....help us keep our young players? Everybody knows that Tyrone Mings is already in big demand. Judging from this article http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/524353/Arsenal-Tyrone-Mings-Ipswich-Town then so is our Teddy. The question is, will we be able to retain our best players? Money talks when it comes to keeping players and everybody has a price but I would hate to see our youngsters being poached by the big boys at this stage of their career. The cash made from sales is never guaranteed to be put back into the squad, or allow us to replace what we have lost, so would you rather sell one for big money and see the squad changed or try our best to keep what we have and retain the continuity in the team?
Judging by the happenings on deadline day we won't be letting them go without getting good value...........but for me I'd like to keep the squad together with minimal changes.
To continue Weighty’s point, with MM in charge we’ve stopped as good as gifting players away in exchange for horribly low transfer fees. After many years of continual disasters on this front, we can at least relax a bit for the time being, safe in the knowledge that the grown-ups are back in charge.
It all depends where we are in the Table come January! At the moment we are operating largely under the Radar of the media and long may it continue.
hahahahah Norwich predictably just had to turn up at Fulham like 23 predicted to win................ OH hahahah
