Over 24hrs since the lowest point of supporting the lads and i'm not pulling out of it, this feels worse than relegation, feels worse than getting beat 5-1 by the mags. There are lots of things that are boiling my piss, why start with rodwell and johnson on the bench and play larsson and gomez? does not compute, why put cabral on the bench when he was not seen fit for a shirt number?

very pissed off with poyet after reflection time tbh, i see alot of you say i'm over it, i'm far from it, eight ****ing nil, mrs says if she hear's my stomp around saying it one more time then she will lose it

so i will say it on here

    8 ****ing nil

No point over-analyzing, bud" there's nowt you can do about it.

If we get absolutely stuffed on Saturday, then you can start worrying but until then have faith we will rebound. Sometimes, these results can galvanize teams and hopefully the game has done that with coaching staff and players. No more mr nice guy bullshit from Gus. Time for players to earn their corn and ours and others teams respect.

Might have been totally different had Mariner not robbed us of a clearer penalty/sending off as you are ever likely to see..

Relegation means months of regret & recriminations ........ we play next week and a win would change everyone's mood.

The 5-1, that I attended, hurt like hell but now seems quite funny after the thrashings we've given them.

Poyet is still learning, as he's admitted, and I see this as a long term project.

It's like your wife bringing home a black baby marra ..... it's a bastard but you just have to learn to live with it <laugh>

The penalty stoke got today was a 'sideways glance' in comparison.

Yes: And for me was a massive turning point as the players heads seem to visibly drop, perhaps in disbelief. Still inexcusable how they capitulated though..

I think the fact that it was 8 helped eleviate the bad feeling . It was just comical in the end. It was just a game, 3 points against a team that aren't our rivals. The fans that were there did us all proud. As fans that is the only thing we can do. Protests etc are meaningless and less than 1% can relate to players.

We've seen it all before man at Watford & West Ham.
Folk get over it & move on.
I'm just pleased it wasn't more.
We're Sunderland fans, resilient ****ers, we have to be, we've been ****e for the best part of 50 years.
Don't beat yourself up about it mate, have a drink, go to bed & give your lass a good shagging.
You'll feel better in the morning.

    I've let it lie already.
    What was the score yesterday?

Can you remember, at school, when you had to score paper or card with a knife so you could fold it?

But the daft lads, like me, would always put a bit too much pressure on and cut through.

Makes you wonder where the time goes eh?

Sorry mate, but I did have a little chuckle. Defects for a few moments from the misery of being a Newcastle fan.
