When that poster puts something up that is well thought out and articulated can someone please take a screenshot?Lose away to Stoke, with a very dodgy penalty decision changing the game, and you lot are going into meltdown? When did our fanbase get so fickle!
Weren't you saying this at the start of last season? Anyone would think you are anti-Bony because he was a Laudrup signing, but I guess you'd probably try to deny that too.
How can anyone blame Bony for this afternoon.
Cut the Bony hate campaign. I predicted this from your posts last week. If you think that the problems in our team start and end with Bony you know less about the game than I thought....and I never thought you knew much.
Not surprised. He seems to zero in on someone and put all his bile into a hate campaign. It's ridiculous. When we all kept with the times and realised we are a better team than stoke, and that we watched the game and realised it could have and should have been more than 2-1 after our 2nd half performance.
Its no different to us being angry at the away game at West Ham last season, some as far as saying its why we should sack ML. (silly people lol) the result isn't in question, the performance is. And our 2nd half performance would have resulted in a battering by a half decent team. Southampton may have put 10 past us![]()
we have a very good team - when they click - and when they do they are a joy to behold like the first 30 minutes today and because of that im very proud to support a team that tries to play good football. unfortunately thats not the whole story, we blow hot and cold, we let teams back into games, we reduce the tempo and we make bad decisions all over the park including the manager. theres a lot of new faces this year and a newish manager so lets see how we respond to the problems we are facing right now because the potential to be a very decent, stable premier league side is definately there.

Nobody seems to have noticed that in three of the last five games refereeing decisions have handed the impetus to the opposition, and it does make a difference. The opposition get a massive boost, the ill treated start to withdraw into their shell.... especially when in those games the opposition are allowed to use physical tactics but we are punished for veering away from the pure football.
Things like that make a team start to question if they are being targeted.

While not wishing to gloss over any current inadequacies, here are some winless sequences during our time in the Premier League:
2011-2012
L-D-D-L (games 1-4, Brendan Rodgers)
D-L-D-L (games 11-14, Brendan Rodgers)
D-L-D-D (games 16-19, Brendan Rodgers)
L-L-L-L (games 30-33, Brendan Rodgers)
2012-2013
D-L-L-L-D (games 3-7, Michael Laudrup)
L-L-D-D (games 16-19, Michael Laudrup)
L-L-L-D-D-L-D (games 29-35, Michael Laudrup)
2013-2014
D-D-L-L-D-L-L-L (games 15-22, Michael Laudrup)
D-L-D-L-L-D (games 26-31, Garry Monk)
As you can see, winless streaks of 4 games or more are not uncommon. I accept there may be underlying factors in there e.g. season effectively over or Europa League taking its toll.
