    This is painful to watch.

Have we even had a shot?

Arguably should have gone all out at a vulnerable Newcastle side.

Would take a point at this moment in time...

Very very poor - worse display I've seen from us for a very long time - Nige got the tactics wrong today - our strength is pace and movement - instead we sacrificed that for a very predictable and ponderous midfield line-up - Albrighton and James were not what was required today - we were far better when Vardy and Nugent entered the fray - we should have gone for the throat but instead gave them little to worry about until we were behind - a big opportunity missed - they were arguably the poorest side we have played yet we have effectively given them and Pardew a lifeline ... gutted.

Why the fook James did not get straight at Obertan rather than inviting him to come and have a shot is beyond me ...

I actually thought Albrighton looked quite promising, certainly did more than Schlupp did on the opposite flank. However, I think his introduction should have been plan B, as Nugent and Vardy certainly looked more sharp, Nugent especially. He absolutely tore into their left back when he got on, and a better final ball could have made this a different outcome. Leaving it until the 86th minute to test an injured Krul was stupid though. Should have been aiming constantly at his dodgy elbow!

    Well that was ****ing ****.

    Typical Leicester.

If you haven't won for ages, then we're the team you're wanting to play against.

Moaning about losing one-nil to Newcastle. Over the last 5-6 years you would have said that was a decent result.

    Show's how far you've come.

The first sixty minutes were poor today. Nothing to pick between the sides though. Vardy and Nugent turned the game around when they came on (Albrighton and especially Schlupp were largely ineffective) but a lucky deflected break fell Newcastle's way (they only threatened from breaks in the last half hour). It could so easily have gone the other way, but having said that, delivery into the box was not good enough today.

Ulloa fought hard in the middle of the park in the first half - but that's not what you want from your lone striker! Albrighton looked rusty (somewhat understandably) and James, who unlike most players had a restful international period, was not at it today. Cambiasso's set piece deliveries were not good enough either. I think Konch had his poorest Prem game to date too. I'd like to see Mahrez, Vardy, Nugent and perhaps even Hammond to start against Swansea.

    10000000000% this <ok>

Honestly, we are there for the taking at the moment, and instead of sticking to the principles that have won you every premier league point you've earned thus far, Pearson (who I respect as manager massively) reverted to trying to use the crowd. If you'd fronted up to us, like Palace and Hull, who aren't better than Leicester, then you'd have probably been celebrating 3 easy points, or at least one.

Overall, I felt we deserved the win. We tried more for the win, though we're a very poor side.

First half, we were very comfortable in possession, knocking it about the back, doing very little of any use, but controlling the game. You had the best chance through James, but that should have shown you our defensive frailties and made you guys push up... Second half, you improved, and Obertan became useful on the counter, but if you'd have shown the quality I've seen from your side so far, it wouldn't have been hard to rack-up a decent score.

Ulloa pissed me off as well. I had him in my fantasy football team, and he goes and wipes out a player off the ball

NP deliberately set out to lose.

Clever thinking. With Pardew in charge it looks increasingly likely that Newcastle fill the third relegation spot with QPR and Burnley.

    Smart bloke is Nigel

    My thought from the game

Nigel did get the team wrong with Albrighton starting and even James. Neither's performances warranted a start and Albrighton struggled despite hitting the post from an overhit cross and James missed the best chance of the game

Schmeichel needs to use his brain abit more then looking to send us out on the attack as soon as possible like last season. We are playing against faster and smarter teams then last season and he nearly cost us but Ritchie De Laet took their player out and got a booking, sometimes he needs to slow the play down aswell. Paul Konchesky was solid first half and 2nd half was trying his hardest to give away the game. Ritchie De Laet was solid defensively and got forward well

Esteban Cambiasso wasn't happy at all at getting subbed and started arguing with Shakey. David Nugent had the left back every time but his final ball was either non existent or crap. Vardy didn't get enough of the ball and when he came on he made Janmaat look silly and ran straight past their back line and nearly set a goal up. Ulloa worked very well did a lot of good work outside the box but thats not where he needs to be. Knockaert looked better then his previous performances

Overall neither side deserved to win but we didn't take our chances and they took 1 which is something that does need to be addressed. Nigel's team selection was strange as to why Matty James is getting in ahead of Andy King atm. King hasnt put a foot wrong all season, whether the red card for Wales was the reason King wasn't pick I don't know. But Alrighton and Schlupp was both no existent, Schlupp at one point chased the right back down got the ball off him and then ran it straight out of play

Next week is massive for us now as we are on a bit of a bad run now with 1 point from 7. There is some positives from yesterday but a lot of work to be done

... in fairness he had by then been provoked ... he possibly lost a tooth or two from a Janmaat challenge that might even have a been a penalty on another day - in that Janmaat got nowhere near the ball but his shoulder connected squarely with Leo's mush ..

While I agree that Nugent didn't get the ball across the box enough, he did win a lot of corners and free kicks. Unfortunately, we haven't been good enough from set pieces for years now, and Cambiasso hasn't really improved things either.

Knocky wants too much time on the ball. He needs to move it quicker. From what I've seen so far, he's not really for this division... yet.

Yep, strange how it works out but Knocky looks awful in this league, but saying that he was dire against Shrewsbury in the cup.

Wouldn't be adverse to flogging him if we receive a decent offer, even wih the riot risk.
