It's because there is no movement up front - no dropping off from Suarez anymore nor Sturridge at the moment. Balotelli sticks up front and Gerrard doesn't have the mobility, so there is nothing for midfield to play through.
Yeah I'd agree with that. I agree with Gerrez about Mingo so far today though he's not done anything wrong.
No way. Mignolet is far worse and tries to punch it away. The only thing mig can do better is save the wonder strike
Reina was done and is not the keeper he was too many soft goals let in, I'd still have Mingolet over Reina.
Pepe never went for it because he knew he wouldn't get there. Migs is miles better dealing with crosses, very rare does he not get there and clear danger.
Apart from the one where they hit the bar. Keeper came out n got no where near it. Pulled off couple good saves though
Put it this way. We never slaughtered Reina like we all do Mignolet. And that's for a reason. He was/is a better keeper
Never rated Balotelli, never wanted him and he's still showing nothing to change my mind of him. Every time he gets the ball, I'm still cheering him and wishing for something special, but he's ****ing gash and is far too arrogant for our team. Constantly breaking down promising attacking positions with ludicrous 40yard pot shots. We are barely creating any chances and when we do, he gives it away needlessly. I'd be furious if I were Hendo, Sterling or Lallana making all the forward runs only to never receive it - he can't be good for the team. Moving on... Not much to write home about. We seem to just have no confidence and Mignolet certainly isn't helping. Fer should have scored and fortunately he screwed it up, but what on earth was Mignolet doing coming out to claim that high ball? He was never getting near it. We need Rodgers to pull some rabbits out the hat soon because we're a shadow of last year and it's NOT all down to Suarez - although perhaps the team believes they're not good enough without him.
