So its about the pm's then. During the PM's which Northolt sent me he told me I was a prick to which I admittedly rather strongly retaliated. Seeing as he was the instigator in regards to the abuse and to of course show your impartiality as a super mod can I assume you will be banning Northolt from the Cardiff board. Also why would I be banned from a board because of pm's to a member, surely you would ban me from messaging that member. Finally, as Northolt loves to tell people, there is always the ignore button.

No disrespect here cyprus, but heavy handed moderation doesn't work, I have run quite a few forums in my time, some work some don't, but always where moderators abuse their position they are removed as they cause more problems than solve! You have hacks that can be installed to help with things on vbulletin a lot of them are needed on some boards , this one needs a few, I can provide a few links to some very interesting addons that are free for the vbulletin licence holder. One thing about banter, if you can't handle it, try a Disney forum, they are very good I've been told

The default with vbulletin is moderators don't see ip addresses or email addresses, but allowing ip addresses to be shown is a simple tick for the admin to make, email addresses are not usually shown to anyone but admins if they go into admincp the modcp does not show it, and I don't think it can be shown without an addon being added to the software.
Big mate of mine is a hoop. Very chilled bloke, lives in Cardiff, goes to watch Bluebirds with his lad. Top bloke. Northolt on the other hand. . . words alone are not enough to describe this 'moderator'. He should be in Broadmoor, tied to a table, undergoing ECT. And still it wouldn't work.
I know they have access to our IP adresses...at least I think they do, Donald **** (weeds mod) claims to have access anyway...while we're at it, there's another one of the mods who abuses his power too much, guys a prick, but not in the same league as northolt.
IP addresses are meaningless, they don't actually say a lot beyond ISP , country and city and that is it, though if you are accessing the forum through a company it could give that out, most ip addresses are dynamic so changes each time you reboot the router, but if you have a good router you can spoof any ip address to disguise your true address, or simply use a proxy server. I would be more concerned with email addresses, though I use a hotmail address for most crap like forums , Facebook and so on
