After a hectic night just poured a large glass red from chile, central valley.. Well done MeX.. start of a life sentence! Busy in this bar tonight.. Has plym bought a round? Or just the straws?

Just had the fire service and paramadeics here as the Hoist in the little ones room started billowing out smoke and fumes.. another mess PCC made of fitting a hoist.. very lucky he was not hurt or anyone injured.. now the wine is needed..
 
It's probably that old it's steam driven Joe hence the smoke. Everything must be ok or you wouldn't be on here so I won't ask.

It's only busy in here when somebody else has to get the round in. My tab has been stung for several rounds already and I must have a word with the barmaid. Needs a stiff talking to me thinks.
 
It is 6k worth of hoist they fitted early this year.. now the emergency engineer has not bothered to return our call and wont be here until monday.. effing council again
 
That's my former employer you are effing effing at there Joe although to be fair I probably called them an effing site more than that in my time.
 
Sorry to report that my old mum(84) passed away last week. Bit of a shock, but I guess she had a good innings. Although a northerner she moved to the SouthWest six years ago to be near to her 3 children, 6 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter. Loved coming to Home park when she was visiting me-Whiskeys all round I think.
 
Sorry to hear that lyndhurst and my condolences to you and family. Even if not sudden or a shock it's still a hard one as you only get one mum and it's a big loss.
 
Can I add my condolences as well lyndhurst.....it is something that you know will happen one day.....but when it does it always leaves you sad and grieving.....at least she had the privilege of seeing the greens.
 
BC.....of course you haven't gone to bed as yet.....what is the time difference from Greenwich in bear country ?
 
Why is it that all the news is about Trolls, just leave the tw ats be.. should not promote them..
