No, you are right, but it's a common mistake that idiots like Pearce make. Good analysis by Shearer and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbank, and guess what? They didn't mention the penalty claim once!
It was 6-3 when Keane got sent off. We were 3-0 up on Manure in the grey shirt game ( I think it was the next season) but they got one back after half time so it ended 3-1
Got up at 05.30 here in Aussie......turned on my phone to be hit by the headlines.........Saints put 8 past Sunderland!!! My jet lag disappeared in a second.....I have at last found a cure for jet lag!! What a result.....I have not seen or read anything on the website so far as to what Poyet said about the results, but am hazarding a guess that he said it was the fault of them not getting a penalty!! That is if he is true to his normal bulls**t. In my eyes another one in the eye for yet another saints perpetual critic. That has to be some sort of record surely in the premier......can't think of any other 8.0 nil drubbings ever....I know Saints have had 8 put past themselves before, one being Everton, not sure if that was in the premier or the old first divi although Saints did score a couple of their own. Not sure who the other side was that did that to us either again though we scored on that day too. Can anyone tell me why we seem to have these fantastic results while I'm away? (No I have no intention of staying away either ) Good result now I might just go over to the Sunderland board and see who they are blaming.......
Pah, 3-1 then but we were 3-0 up at half time I didn't see it as a penalty, if fletcher'a shot was on target it would have been saved then he would have been clattered. It's only an issue because his shot was so poor.
Jumped up shouting as it went in, my nipper didn't understand why I was cheering the other team. Once explained, and after watching the replay he couldn't stop giggling for several mins. I think I've finally got him interested in footy
It would be Pelle's if the GK was the only one to touch it, but the defender touched it a couple of times as he couldn't get it out from under his feet. It was going in anyway, but I think it will be an OG.
I know people have been saying how well Tadic played in general, but can I put in a special mention for his well taken goal. I know he was presented with the ball, but I think the goalie's mistake has blinded the TV people from how good his curling shot was.
http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/arsenal-boss-arsene-wenger-targets-4459571 Mirror talking about (making up) rumour about Morgan to Arsenal. Anyone think Morgan would want to leave at the moment...thought not. And we will certainly not let him go in January when Europe is in our sights.
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...razian-Pelle-scores-twice-in-Saints-romp.html Telegraphs match report...I liked the reference to Wanyama, another stranger to the score sheet under Pochettino's more cautious system.
