As far as I'm concerned this man is welcome at the gate, I will applaud him on, I liked his spirit and attitude, I will also applaud him off if we win, if we lose and he scores I'll go home and take the dog for a walk and return home alone..
I thought he was a very average player who tried very hard in a very poor team.. thats enough to get my applause.
Jon Stead will get my applause,he at least gave his all,not like the majority of the crap around him at the time.
His attitude, effort and work rate for me made him the ideal choice for a team captain. I liked the idea of him having the opportunity to lead a very lost team. He will have me applauding when he walks on the pitch.
Never really thought that he got firing on all cylinders during his time at Ashton Gate but you only had to look at the lack of supporting actors to understand why, however I always thought that he presented himself well and a nice welcome back would be the order of the day.
I agree, I've already commented on Stead, Heaton was a true professional, Skuseeeeeeee, I was always a fan of his, Adomah we all loved, as said I agree but we are now progressing, I'm a typical fan, I love the new boys, the rest are good memories.. Up the City..
John Stead gave everything he had for our team a 100%er if ever I saw one, should get a standing ovation from all who's there...then go out and batter the team he now play's for!!!
