how can they complain? we've paid every penny they have been due for all the personnel we have signed, you cant get too attatched to players in this day and age, especially if a club of our ambition comes in for him, given that watford will be once again fighting relegation.

well sorry but theres no point moaning, focus on the future FFS. as if other clubs didnt know cowie would be out of contract on july 1st.

so they signed him for a nominal fee, and they sell him for nothing, its their fault that they didnt offer him enough money...

    H. There'll be no club left when we're finished and they'll have to go support Luton...

Have to feel for the fans though, its bad enough when a Prem club comes in and hoovers up your good players ( we know all about that don't we), but I would be hopping if it was another championship club.
But its not Cardiffs fault, they have to look to their own board on this, they are the ones letting this happen.

haha, funny how they are all suddenly claiming that cowie is in fact a cr*p player who will be warming our bench, while at the same time moaning like a bunch of schoolkids about a player leaving when his contract expired. why are they so upset about losing a player who is poor, according to them?

we paid compensation for all the staff, and cowie's contract expired, thats football for you, but they dont seem to understand that <laugh>

I agree with you to a point SB. Any situation like this is always crap for the fans but all we've done is picked up a player who was out of contract. It's knee-jerk reactions like babydans above that make me think, "fk it, I'll take the piss". Like you said, look to the source instead of laying blame elsewhere.

Swamp: I totally agree mate. Cowie is crap, Malky is a joke, the backroom staff wont be missed. I think we've got more problems than they have :D

I think we'll see you in mid-table mediocrity along with us (but at considerably more expense) and after your nasty, nasty impatient fans get on MM's back, the board will have no alternative but to sack him come December.

Enjoy your one or two seasons in the sun to make up for 40 years of stunning awfulness.

I agree with you H, if they come on here having a go at us they are going to get it back.
Not our problem, we need players, and we don't seem to ahave taken anything of theirs in reality, bit like ebay, they were outbid.

SB, the post above yours just highlights my point <doh>

I wonder if the Swans and Brighton are getting the same grief for taking their players? hmm....the couple of million they happily banked tells me no.

Am I chewing lemons because the bitterness is almost tasteable? Your club history must be glittered with tremendous success in old and new! Please tell me more I am very interested..

Backroom staff always leave with the manager, it's something that has happenned everywhere, no matter what sport you are interested in. Then, a player that you cannot afford personal terms for signs for our club also. Would you whine and cry about it so much if another club snapped him up? (as you were never going to keep him).

The amount of idiocy on your boards, and now this one is startling! Thank you for a good chuckle, I look forward to seeing the pitch forks at our away game this year.

Who was it sang about people leaving...........

    http://www.metrolyrics.com/daniel-lyrics-elton-john.html

Reg Dwight if I remember rightly, not nice in real life is it?

it's happened to us, now it's happening to you..............that's football live with it <doh>

perhaps you should be asking why your manager, backroom staff and players want to leave, instead of bitching on here? If Watford is so wonderful why are they leaving?
