I used to listen to music when young and I like country and western and some classical pieces, but I loathe music in the background. I cannot bear the radio on....my friends turn music off when I arrive because I find it so annoying. I can read with Sky Sports on, but could never read with music on in the background. I guess we all have different sensory experiences...so Owen is another who does not appreciate music....the same as some do not appreciate painting or sculpture.
I'm sorry, but saying Jeff Wayne's Musical Version of the War of the Worlds is based on that Tom Cruise crap is unforgivable!! Richard Burton will be rolling in his grave.
Each to their own, I would say. Some of us are happy to watch and listen to others, and some are happy to listen, watch and occasionally do. Owen is obviously at the other end of the scale. He has no time for peripheral stuff. He concentrates on his twin passions of football and horse racing. That's his choice. There's nothing wrong with it.
Yep agreed. Don't like that Ricky Wilson much; I had to watch him cuddle Kylie every week on the television
Talking of sex changes, what would ya'll change your name to if you underwent a sex change? I'd probably go for Samantha.
I could stick to Francis (just with i instead of e). I like the name I gave my son: Alastair. I hope there aren't psychiatrists reading this.
Tiny little Eibar have just missed an open goal to take the lead at the Nou Camp against the mighty Barca..... Omg Bravo has just saved a 1-on-1 too......HT now, the natives are getting restless!
I'd have long chestnut brown hair, sometimes I'd leave it wavy and sometimes I'd straighten it, but mostly it would be wavy and with those horizontal braid things (not sure what they're called). I'd wear glasses, I'd be a bit shy and quite attractive, but I wouldn't recognise my own attractiveness, even if other people say I am. I'd be more likely to wear jeans and a t-shirt than dresses or skirts, but I'd also quite often wear blouses and I'd have selection of awesome hats. If I wasn't wearing a hat, I'd often bow or something in my hair, not a big one, but you know those small ones you can get. So Fran is short for Frances and not Francesca? Interesting! I like the name Francis, I'd name my son that but then he'd have an aliterative name
When I read PL's post about the name Samantha, I nearly said that he seemed to have thought about it too much... Now? OMG.
