Don't know the stats, but I'm very confident goals scored by substitutes under Koeman is on par, if not higher than under Pochettino.
A day of firsts for me.... my first post (though a long time lurker) and first visit to St Marys, though I did see them at The Valley when both Charlton and Saints were in the PL...some years ago now. I'm very much enjoying watching the whole game again on SS1 right now, especially as I'm not paying for it.
As for the pen...the Sunderland player didn't look as if he expected it...just touched hands with Forster. That to me suggests he left his foot trailing. he'd have been taken out anyway, but I guess the ref thought the ball was going dead.
I am sure that on another day, with a different Referee, the Penalty would have been awarded, but what was not evident was intent from Fraser to bring Fletcher down, he just did a routine spread, and the players own actions made it look dubious, but notably he didn't make a fuss afterwards which was to his credit.
Just over 2 seasons back in the PL, and we've beaten a team 8-0. I've just realised how ludicrous that is!
