The last time we played them at LR I went with my husband, who is a Liverpool fan, all the way there (only from Berkshire back then) he took the Mickey saying we stood no chance. Well we all know what happened that night under the flood lights, and even he cheered when the Mackie winner went in. We are going to the pub to watch tomorrow, so I will, ever hopeful, go with same scoreline 3-2 to us and don't care who scores.
So, we definitely had a plan and outplayed them the first half. Caulker scored his own goal. A much improved effort but still no points. Sorry to be wearing the black cap - That Liverpool side that turned up was equal to the crap we served up at OT and WHL. They had their minds on Real Madrid and were seriously awful. We will come up against few sides this season as bad, the persons who masquerade at the back close to our keeper cannot even be close to be called a defense - they are shocking. Any team with Dunne, Ferdinand, Hill, Onouha and Caulker as the units will be terrorized by pace time and again. Good to see YSY play though, he can make it. This is the worst of all results - Seemingly improved performance with some effort - **** me we are easy to please!!! But no points against a sack of ****e of a team.
Totally agree Danish, bit fed up with all the happy clappers saying how well we did, how much better we were. I'd take a totally **** performance against Villa and three points
