Where should we be? You earn success, we have no right to be anywhere. We've got a better squad than last year but it was an awful squad last year, going to take time to evolve this squad. All this panic button pressing is pathetic imo. You'd think we'd just been relegated the way some are going on. We're a bottom half premiership club who are very lucky just to be here. It can't be fixed in the two transfer windows Gus has had.
I agree with you but do you not think that we and them twats up the road should be a little bit higher Brian . I hope and pray Gus can do it for us I really do . But it boils my piss when so called lesser teams do better.
I can't talk to for the mags but no, we've squandered money for nearly a decade, made poor appointments, no. We're lucky to be in this league. We've finally got a decent manager in where we can install some continuity and build the club up properly. We'll deserve to be higher when we've earned it, chopping and changing managers when we've finally found a decent one is just taking another step back imo.
Southampton have had the best stream of young player I can remember, they have also been very astute in the transfer market of late, we on the other hand lag well behind them on both fronts, thats why we are 4th bottom and they are 3rd top.
yeah your right . I thought after this seasons fire sale they would be ****e. but they seem better than before. but does it not piss you off knowing that they are ? there is no way on this planet that they and there fans should ever be anywhere near us

You're right of course! We both deserve to be where we are at the minute. But what pisses me off is that Soton were dead and buried a few years back but have suddenly been fast tracked towards being in a position that we can only dream of! This has been whilst we have just plodded along from one mini crisis to the next! Southampton have used little time to mould a championship team into a good premier league one, had it completely gutted then raised virtually an entirely new team into a very good one. Whilst we seem to have to start from scratch every summer transfer window as another batch of players have failed miserably!!! I'm jealous as **** and it boils my piss at times as to why we constantly implode just when I have the damn nerve to start thinking somewhere towards positivity! We should have everything in place to mimic something near as to what Southampton have done....why cant we do it???
haha. wasn't meant to be derisive at all. Not in the slightest .just think our club deserves a lot better than today. I want Gus to succeed just couldn't understand why he plays a 6ft 3 bloke on the wing when he had a winger on the bench with Mavrias. just want the best for us fans and team.
I deserve to be a millionaire. I probably could have been if I was intelligent enough and put in the graft. Just because we have one of the best set of supporters in the land doesn't equate to best team. And your stating that the Saints fans and team should be no where near us is frankly laughable. They have been trying to make things happen there for years. They were also lucky to have one of the classiest players I have ever seen, show great loyalty to them in Lettisier.
Thats the rub, QQB and there are no easy answers, its just part of the game we all love, we are all shell shocked to be honest, and the players will be feeling the same, we all have to stick together and come out firing on all cylinders in the next game or two and hope our luck will change in the future.
