Why not go straight from work? Can always have a snack down there.

I'll be there as I only live 10mins away from Darlington. The ground is quite far away from the train station. Probably around 3miles. I'm not sure how much a taxi will cost. Parking will probably be a bit of a bitch as well. People normally just abandon them on the grass on the side of the road near the stadium. Not sure which end I will be in yet though, as I have quite a few Darlo fans who are going as well <ok>

This is what I heard, also I've just had a text from my colleague at work, I must work that day but I can finnish at 4. We were planning to travel by train, but getting to and from the ground will be a bit of a problem. I've tried to find out what the local buses are like but not having much luck.

The Back Page are putting coaches on which means if you travel with them or another local football coach operator you'll get dropped off at the ground.

This is good, we'll be able to catch a taxi home, don't fancy public transport on a Friday night. Nothing worse when everyone else has had a drink
    and you haven't.

You never know, there might be somebody on the coach that lives near you that can drop you off. They're all a friendly bunch.

There is one lady passenger that drives home after the drop off but I think she lives in the Tyne Valley area.
