Very few people involved with the game can string a coherent sentence together,as is evidenced by the likes of Gerrard,who needs a translator in close attendance. Managers bore the pants off me,with their constant repetition and whinging. I always enjoyed Laudrup's interviews,however,since he rarely courted controversy,and was well spoken,and informative. Always a classy speaker.
As I stated earlier, footballers aren't 'role models' at all imo. It's a throwaway line perpetuated by the media and those with an agenda in the Evans case.

Can't believe we're still talking about this...... he was found guilty of rape by a jury. Unless he get's that verdict overturned then he's a convicted rapist irrelevant of anyone's opinion, and the girl most importantly is the victim of rape. End of.

The two crimes, can in no way be compared. Rapists should remain behind bars for life. Nathan did something stupid, the rapist prick did a horrendous unforgiving thing.

But that's OK because it was just 'something stupid'. Still a thief though, right? What if someone is convicted of a serious assault, leaving their victim traumatised? Or someone who steals £1,000 from a charity? You see what I'm getting at? People who have a conviction should be allowed to move on when they have served their sentence, because if not, who decides who is 'forgiven' in society and who is not?

Rape is certainly in the headlines at the moment, not least that it is becoming a National disgrace in the uk, with the latest figures showing an increase of 29% . This is not helped by the police authorities treating it and child abuse with disinterest, and blaming the court system sentencing as the real problem. I'm not sure whether these increases are due to our ever expanding Asian comunities, who regard rape of white girls as sport, and with our inept police authorities turning a blind eye it certainly looks like open season on our women. North wales police, Manchester police, Rochdale, Rotherham, ect all demonstrate that it is open season on our children and women. Seems society in general has gone beyond all moral sense, all very sad.
Now before anyone state that i am a racist i am definitely not but as dragon has stated there is a notable increase of 29% rape cases. I have noticed the increase when i read in the papers i can't help but notice that the majority of names are foreign names and that would tie into our lack of border control and opening up the gates for poles romanians etc. I will obviously be called a racist by some but i dont believe in not saying what i see before my eyes and what i read.....the government is to blame for allowing anyone into the country without a check on them first....

It's a religious and cultural thing, unfortunately. Although we have our own fair share of rapists - far more predatory than the rather naive Evans by the way - what do you expect when a 'Holy Book' not only encourages you to beat and subjugate females but actually instructs you on how to do it?
Unfortunately woman kind are considered less than a cow in some parts of the world, and the class system in India is not only encouraging rape out there, but it's down right offencive and brutal. We as a nation have not done enough to impress upon those that come here to understand that when in Rome they should be doing as the Romans do, we have given far too much leeway to unlawful practises of foreigners in this country, and only now we are beginning to realise it. Religious practices such as witchcraft and demon exorcism of children, that clearly are not possessed are proving to be of some concern to some inner city police authorities, and the practice of child sacrifice in some very closed Afro-Caribbean communities is going on according to a media article by the police that I read recently, after reading it, I thought I was back in the dark ages?........................
