Don't worry, all - the 'Doc' promised this at some point....

We don't need a new government; we have our own resident liar.

I can't see anyone managing to pull this off, but it would be great of they did.

    Good idea. Never gonna happen.

Just an attempt to win over decent honest football fans in time for the next general election

Stop doing this Stan its not true and you know it. He said he had a vision of a 40/60 local business/fans owning it. There was no date for it and it is just that a vision a hope. If you truly believe that then i may be able to sell you some magic beans.

Ctwd hope to one day own the club, are you calling **** out of them cos it hasnt happened yet? No, its an aspiration.

A very populist idea that sounds as if it has come straight from North Korea. Why should the government dictate over the ownership and representation of the football clubs?

However I do feel that having fan representation at board level should be encouraged - just not legislated for.

I would have thought that a new Govt, would have more to worry about than football. they should leave us to worry about on match days.

Ain't that the truth, Charles. I am not too worried about the next match day, though; I fancy a daft win . . . It's possible, if not probable!

    Ebola Crisis = political

Labour Party policies = not political

Keep up the good work, moderators. <ok>

I think it was made quite clear Patches that football politics is allowed. Mainly because this is a football forum?

    Well, allow me to retort.

I reminded you that only football politics is allowed as this is a football forum.

If you read the rules, it specifically says this.

Anything not political but not football is O/T and therefore within reason allowed.

You know the rules Callum, OLM has explained them a stupid number of times recently. You're just purposely taking the piss now.

He talks a lot of **** a stupid number of times. His thinly veiled threat to ban me because me and Stan were discussing the Ebola Crisis was pathetic.

That still doesn't detract the fact he's explained the rules to you over and over, the same rules which are at the top of the homepage of this board.
