He's spending pre-season with us and then has the option to extend his contract. If he's unfit, he'll go to Palace or wherever else and fail the medical there. If he's fit, he'll stay at Leeds. No worries.

agreed and i think he will.... i would love to see him and Tom Lees as a paring. Lees quick and good in the air.... had a great season at Bury im sure a very pysical one in that division and the ball up in the air allot.... Paddy will stay....

I'd be really disappointed to see paddy go. I think he is plenty good enough for the Championship, he was strong when he came back last season and that wasn't really him at full fitness. Would be interesting to see him and Lees as Spanish says, complement each other rather than having two CBs who are the same type of player
