Mods have been asked to post the following on our boards. Obviously it doesn't really relate to us as we don't get posts with porn on our board but just in case, please read. Also, just to let you know that they have decided to stay in post until at least Christmas. Here is their message: Brb & Minxy have decided jointly:* • Mods need to remove any porn / nudity posts & links from their boards (with the exception of the already mentioned areas)* • We will ask that mods carry out this request on their individual boards.* • If you don’t know how – ask* • If there are lots – we can permanently delete whole threads if asked • Failure to do so, then we will • If mods do not wish to carry out these duties, they need to resign & new mods will need to be appointed • Any members that decide they wish to break the new forum rules will be banned for a minimum of 72 hours, increasing with each ban.* • Members that decide they want to throw abuse in the direction of the administration team will also be removed • Mods please put a warning notice on your boards about the new changes – including the ban warning
Thank God for that - i was worried someone on here might have got hold of my holiday snaps and thought it was me with the armadillo and the artichoke..
How is abuse of the administration defined? In our spat with them they seemed to take offence at differences of opinion, at times.
I had a lovely pm from a supermod telling me not to slag them off and also not to stick up for them. Bit ironic really as I actually supported them. Anyway, I told mick to delete my account so that's that. Been a pleasure and hope you and yours get the beat out of life you can. Oh and COYH!
This is just plain silly now. Already we see that only 7 out of the 24 Championship club boards are active, and for a site that needs people to take part to keep advertisers paying, it cannot be right to operate in a way that drives those very people away. We were told that the Watford board could get on with it and not expect any help if we had trouble land on our doorstep. I have not noticed any trouble despite having some strong debates. I would agree with the rules that have been stated above, and would no doubt complain to our mods if there was something I thought not in keeping with the way we debate. I did see Dan's comments before they were removed. Critical maybe, but surely criticism is allowed. Much of the debate that takes place is all about that, be it teams, tactics or Refs. I have had far worse thrown at me in my time on here without getting upset. It comes with posting your view that can be quite different from that of others. I am sure that the SuperMods do get abuse from other places, but hardly from here. I think that they are wrong in this case. Critical yes, abusive no.

I had a very thoughtful and kind apology from the supermod in question. This was a silly spat which I escalated to a stupid degree. It wasnt really their fault. And thats my last word on the matter.
I know I said I would not comment again but as you have been big enough to come on here it seems only right to do so. You and I have resolved this privately but I owe you - and forum members - an apology for escalating this when it was not necessary. Thank you.
Ive been travelling for a few days and currently just driving back down South. However...i think this communication might be better helped if some of the site owners comments were posted and his support of the original op. Sadly i think the extent of the site problem is being diluted....this is not a Watford issue but a more serious issue across the site. Some of the other board mods have posted some of Mick's messages should anyone wish to look. I would do it myself if i knew how to on this phone. It has taken hours of work for Minxy to remove stuff in my absense...even having to delete thr Toons Sexy Poll thread...which crashed the site! I hasten to add im not having a go at anyone...just trying to highlight this is nothing to do with our previous exchanges some time ago. Thanks EDIT:
I am really pleased you are getting rid of porn on here. I had no idea it was such a problem. There are many things that you do as Supermods that we do not realise. Our little part of this site seems to be made up of respectable middle-aged to elderly men who get into abstract huffs about things, hence our disputes with the supermods in the past. Edit. I've just read that and I sound a prude. What I meant to say is that this is used by us as a football site, with the odd bits of political discussion thrown in. Porn seems inappropriate.
