And for having two football grounds at opposite ends of the same street.

I've just checked out Hartley on wikipedia: he's only been a manager for three years, first with Alloa Athletic then Dundee. That's not enough experience, in my opinion. If we're going for someone with less than five years under their belt, it should be Kit. Also, most of Hartley's playing career was in Scotland, with the reason for ending his season with Bristol City being that he wanted to return home. It may well be that a move to the south of England doesn't work for his family circumstances, or that if it did he might soon be tempted to go back.

I agree with the comment above that Moyes, if he was willing to come to a club at our level, would be the perfect appointment. If he's up for it, I don't think we even need to meet with any other candidates (sorry Kit!).

That reminded me of a colleague who went to John O’Groats on a camping holiday in January. He came back complaining about the weather adding, “I’m never going there again!”.

Quick question. Why would Alan Curbishley come back to Fulham after being given the 'spanish archer' earlier in the year?

If Kit asked him back, I think he'd come. It's not like he is fending off dozens of job offers and it would also remove any blot on him for the Meulensteen fiasco.

I'd be happy with Kit, would settle for Clarke and don't want Hughton.

Hughton and Clarke just don't do it for me. Hughton has promotion credentials but not keeping a club up. Aaaarrrggghhhh!

Not exactly earth shattering from the Panel if this is correct. There again "steady-as-you-go" is arguably what we need right now.

Clarke always looked half-cut when doing TV interviews and some might say his only stint of success was on the back of Roy's work. Hughton gets the sympathy vote because of the way Newcastle (well, Ashley) treated him and my wish would have been that he'd joined us a while back, to re-unite with Jol. My main concern would be his transfer dealings which in his last year at Norwich, with a bag of cash, were at best .. dubious.

I think Disastrous might be nearer the mark. Van Wolfswinkel springs to mind. Fer only scored 3 which was 2 better than Ricky managed - then again, we haven't covered ourself in glory in the transfer market recently, either.

If it's a choice of those three, then I'd go for Kit.

He's just been on 5Live saying that he's now ready for a new challenge. Interesting timing, or is that just wishful thinking?

I reckon it's his way of tempting Mike Ashley to sack Pardew and invest in him.

Moyes would be nice, but surely he's PL-bound.

I'd love Notes to come to Fulham. I heard the interview and he did say he wanted to build a team, we could be perfect.
