I think the word star is just used as they are coming from Liverpool otherwise a "Liverpool star" would imply one of their best players and that just isnt going to happen

He played alot of games when Dalglish came in, I'd be surprised if they were willing to let him go out on loan. Plus he's just signed a new 5 year deal.

He is a strange looking fella though....

Either way, the way City work at the moment we won't know anything until it appears on the Official Web Site.

If it was a youngster wouldn't it have been a "starlet?"

    Goo-lart-Sea

Edit: probably more appropriate as Goole-art-see?

I think we can compromise to Goo-la-chee (although in Hull it will probably be Gul). Strange pronunciation of "cs" in Hungarian.

When I write articles for my Hull-page it's not like I write, "Joe Dudgeon to Hull", nobody would who that is. So I simply write, "United-talent to Hull" ;)
    For example.....

I've just run it through the "listen" function for Hungarian on google translate... - pretend he's Italian and pronounce it Gulacci and you've got it right...

There are a few languages in Eastern Europe that have sounds like that. I think Polish have cz as our ch too.

I had originally translated it from IPA but using the English variation rather than the IPA variation, hence the "ts" rather than "ch". In Czech it would have been a "ch" with a c and an upside down ^ on the top, with "ts" coming from a single c.

Anyway, Gulacci, sounds like we are getting an Italian keeper, just not the one we were expecting.

We should just sign someone called Archie from Goole.

    Or maybe not...

I think that's what Wenger suggested to Dalglish that he should do.
