He didn't get it for Captaining the WC side, he got it because he's a legend to both sets of fans. Leave the road name as it is and get the statue of Morley up. That way all fans will be happy.
Dr Allam wants to rename the club, thereby upsetting a minority. You want to rename a road thereby upsetting another minority. Not so different after all eh?
when did you last make a post that didnt include allam seriously? Don't you get bored and he's not a ****ing dr
The previous 25...got bored looking at that point. However, ta for allowing me to prove your assertion is a load of bollocks. The good doctor is not a lot of things he gets called, at least my use of Dr isn't insulting or offensive.
Captaining Great Britain in 1972, he was the first black captain of any British national sporting side
The majority of Hull City fans want the name to remain Hull City, anyone who doesn't believe that is, quite frankly, a moron. The campaign finished on 9th April, I'm amazed we've recruited another 63 members since then, we've done nothing(cheers Doc).
A positive thread about paying tribute to one of our city's legends descends into bickering over the name change and rugby league, what a f**ing surprise.
I think it's the case that technically doctors have no right to be called doctors. It's an honourary title. They don't have a doctorate unlike say Doctors of biology, philosophy, etc.
I like it when the gorgeous young woman faints, collapses. And someone calls out: "Is there a doctor here?"..........
