Difference is we saw Rush and Dalglish, best ever strike partnership in the world - Suarez and Dalglish if it were possible [and it's not] would be a dream combo <ok>

not sure about that.... it may be but rush was a killer, fast and lethal. dalglish was the genius.

bergkamp and henry thats more analogous.... suarez and dalglish..... suarez is unique i that he fires it early and often and is intense but lethal? truely lethal? he'll fire hat tricks when on song but would you best your life on him if you gave only one chance ad he had to score

Don't know if you misunderstood, I wasn't saying the Suarez partnership would be better, or even as good as - just that it's something I'd love to see.

  9. I think it's Daglish or Suarez partnering Rush. Maybe all three? KD & LS just behind IR

Can I have all three please

And swap Mignolet out for Clemence while you're at it.

  11. None of the current team would make a all time Liverpool squad, never mind team. Sterling and Flanno might given time though. Maybe Moreno too.

    Gerrard?

Now that we have Lambert back I'm wondering what his career would have been like if he'd stayed. He looks a player who'd have been a Kop idol.

I'd agree on Gerrard in his prime

I disagree on Lambert though, I dont think he is good enough to have become an idol

Depends how you define 'good enough' - it isn't always the best players who become idols. Can't think of any local lads not taken to heart tbh.

I mean would he have made the grade, local lads have been sold without a first team appearance and he was let go without a first team selection. So not good enough to have appeared for our first 11 and then held down a spot, which he would have to have done to become an idol I reckon

I'd be interested in your all time 11 actually given you have seen more players through the times than me + know more on the older players

    Would Fowler get in? Souness?

Yeah you're right. I was wondering had he made the grade as a youngster, would he have kicked on and become something special. I sort of get a feeling about him that he gives his all and is passionate about the team he's playing for, had that been us - the team he's always supported - would he have been talked about for years to come. Fans love players who love them and love playing for them, he's that type of player.
