Also what's with this burger and a pint thing in some pubs? It's all getting very civilised nowadays! First it was pork scratchings, then crisps now there's steak and chips, spag bol and all sorts!

Training is about fitness isn't it? I take your point about some players being lazy but I also reckon some players could play full games week in, week out, without too much organised team fitness training sessions because they are fit enough with healthy eating etc. and could probably stay that way on gym sessions alone, any players injured during gym sessions? Tactical training is something else and very necessary. When you see the training photos from the lfctv website it looks as much about bonding as anything else. I think there's a real danger of over training i.e over stretching the body in training so it starts to have a negative effect on game time rather than a positive and I'm guessing that's what you were maybe hinting at too?

    international management is easy:

    1. england v san marino and estonia.... sorry but i call this league one and conference AT BEST....

    2. YOU DON'T HAVE TO SELECTED 40 PLAYERS A SEASON AND PLAY THEM ALL YOU NEED 15 SO SAID 2 DAYS TRAINING IS ACTUALLY MANY MANY DAYS OVER SIX MONTHS

    3. tactical training is nothing like physical training. why the f is hodgson running lads? by all means warm up but why do sprint drills when in fact you should be doing woys crappy patterns of play???
