CTWD had hoped to have a new website and forum up and running by now, but circumstances have conspired against us and not only is the website not operational, but it doesn't look like it will be any time soon(though we're doing everything possible to remedy this). While this remains the case, we have decided to register 'City Till We Die' on each of the main City forums, to allow people to talk to the organisation directly, as engaging with members(and non members) about the direction of the evolving Trust is vitally important. This thread will be updated within the next twenty four hours with the aims of the organisation, so that fans can raise any issues, make any suggestions, or ask any questions. Thanks, The City Till We Die Committee
I stickied this, but think it wasn't as noticeable up there, so I'll unstick it for the time being, and move it back up later on.
As a consequence of this new approach to communicating on the message boards, only responses from the City Till We Die account should be considered a CTWD response. This should avoid any confusion between individual posters who are involved in the organisation and the organisation itself. Leaving me free to be as obnoxious as I like.
You've been holding back all this time? Only kidding, but it's good that a line has been drawn between official CTWD opinions and opinions from CTWD supporters.
A few to kick off with. How do CTWD ever expect to communicate with AA when they have a member who is threatening to be obnoxious? Can all CTWD members receive a personalised hip flask with their member's pack or are these reserved solely for committee members? Will CTWD provide a "care in the community" officer in order to assist certain needy supporters to understand simple details? Have CTWD requested a brick wall from Not606 to bang their heads against? Is counselling to be made available to the CTWD committee members who are going to be exposed to some on here? Can CTWD confirm their stance on half n half scarves? Have the CTWD committee debated & declared their preference in the "Brut or Old Spice" issue? Thank you in advance.
I'm expecting a "Happy's Silent Majority" forum to spring into existence sometime soon, in fact the little gnome has probably cyber-attacked the CTWD site in spite. meanwhile "Voice of The Snooker Club" is an adequate alternative.. apparently.. cue offence..
Sensible thread already been derailed by certain people , what was the point of your contribution Chazz ?
I think I'm right in saying that one of the long term aims (if that's the right phrase) of CTWD is to create a trust similar to that at Portsmouth, where representatives for the fans have a place at board meetings. Could someone from CTWD give some idea of how that would work, in terms a dummy like me can understand?
Would not want you idiots representing me,and neither would i support a club with a bunch of idiots like you running it if that ever happened.
As I understand it, those that sit on the board to represent fans would be elected, so I don't imagine there's anything to prevent you putting yourself forward.
I'm happy the way the club is being looked after now as a fan so i have no wish to interfere with those that are running it now.
