Utter nonsense, when he left Celtic he was still living in Glasgow so I don't see what difference leaving Celtic would have made.

He left because he was getting less money and less influence in the recruitment side of things. He probably felt let down considering his accomplishments.

Again with the Nonsense? I'm telling you a rumour I heard, whether it's true or not I don't know but something stinks, so if you or Eric have any evidence apart from what's already been said about his departure...and Mjallby's, then feel free to let me know.

Something is not right, I personally don't care one way or another, he's gone and that's it but I have a feeling there is something we are not being told.

[h=1]Neil Lennon bites back at Celtic boss Ronny Deila saying chips WILL be on menu at Bolton![/h]
NEIL Lennon last night took a furious pop at Celtic manager Ronny Deila by insisting that chips will be on the menu at Bolton.

The former Hoops gaffer was paraded as the Trotters new boss yesterday after agreeing a three-year deal, six months after leaving Parkhead.
But since taking over in the summer, Deila has questioned the fitness of the squad he inherited and has drastically changed the diet at Lennoxtown with fizzy drinks and chips banned by the Norwegian.
But when asked what would be on the menu at his new club, Lennon furiously barked: “Chips!”

Deila has defended his changes by saying “Do you think Andy Murray eats chips?” but Lennon insists they weren’t being served to the players.
He said: “Chips were on the menu – that’s what annoys me. You’d have thought we weren't having chips and cheese and Irn-Bru every morning. We had a fantastic canteen.”

After Deila first spoke out about the food at Lennoxtown, Lennon was quoted saying the remarks were “disgraceful”.

Its quite simple, Lennon felt he was better getting out of Celtic before it turned to ****e, obviously his vision and the boards aren't the same.

Why does everything have to be a scandal?

Doesn't have to be a scandal, as i've said it's only what i've heard. It was news to me until yesterday but now looking back something was amiss, whether it was because of some young lassie only time will tell, but these things have a way of coming out eventually.

The only thing amiss was the lack of funds to fund his vision.

Are you saying that Celtic refused to buy Lennon's spectacles?

Probably about the same as Celtic spend but at least he will get a say on the players the money is spent on.

He may have left for his principles, but they won't pay his bills

I think that the position now held by Ronny is that of a head coach, a bit like Jock Brown and Wim Jansen to Pete and Ronny, only much worse :-(

He hasn't left us to go to bolton though. He left us because the board had a different vision to his. The bolton job is the frst to come along.

    Zackly.

Some don't think it unusual that he walked out on Celtic with no job in the pipeline.

Aye, sounds like a plan right enough.

Not unusual. He disagreed with the boards transfer policy and quit. Managers do that all the time.

It's not unusual for a man who was doing what he descriibed as "The job of a lifetime" to walk out on that job with no other job in the pipeline.

And where did he say he disagreed with the Board's transfer policy, do you have a link?

Someone will be along soon to dismiss such a notion out of hand.

I think he left because he got too big for his boots. Listen to him bitch about not being offered a Premier League job, blaming it on Premier League chairmen - well the problem obviously isn't me, so it must be them!

It is hard to do your job when your board sell all your best players and don't reinvest that money in the team. No wonder he left.
