Bit worried when the commentators said near the end that he completed the game despite a scare about his calf. Did seem to have run out of energy in injury time - wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't start on Saturday.
Usually comes back injured - or doesn't play as well for us. Maybe its just our style of play doesn't suit Anya. He is a quick guy who likes to have the ball played to him quickly and forwards whereas we like to pass the ball around and take time.
Which is exactly what Scotland were doing last night - even the commentator mentioned that his pace wasn't being fully utilised...
Quite a hard hitting article in the WO about the club's ticket pricing! http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/watfordfc/watfordfcnews/11537691._/?
This has had so many false dawns. I really am not sure that it is any further forward than it was twelve months ago. http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sp..._Corner_plans_and_funding_still_to_be_agreed/
However, there were so many similar "false dawns" with the Main Stand side (I refuse to call it that abomination of a term, the "East Stand"). Now that the Community Stand is almost complete, I for one think that the Pozzos will deliver on the SW corner. Of course, what will be delivered is a moot point......
Well they were never going to start on that side till the East stand was built. Be the next test for the Pozzos.
http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sp...s/11541066.Deeney_could_return_for_Owls_trip/ Deeney could return this Sat, I, for one, don't want him rushed back though. He is vital.
Interesting snippets on Twitter from the Q&A session: CEO Scott Duxbury ends the Q&A by saying success this season is finishing first in the Championship and second would be deemed as failure CEO Scott Duxbury says FFP is not a problem for #WatfordFC regardless of the different criteria which has been suggested. Head of customer sales says #WatfordFC receive 3X as many emails saying @1HHornet is the best mascot in the league compared to complaints CEO says he believes the club have dealt with all the major fallouts from the Laurence Bassini era. Few minor issues left operational director Glyn Evans: 'We need to be in the PL for 3 seasons - and hopefully they aren't autumn, winter and spring' Duxbury says Sannino's desire to return to Italy appeared to be his main reason for resigning.
El'Presidentè ‏@MichaelFolivi 8h8 hours ago Everyone have a look and vote for my goal for goal of the month, much appreciated! http://www.lfe.org.uk/goal-of-the-month/ Needs our help - he's running fourth at the moment...

"I'll be fighting a losing battle trying to get my son to support my team (Watford). Frankly, I wouldn't want to inflict that on the poor child anyway." Fight the bloody battle anyway you tosser! At least until he grows up........ What a git -who needs "fans" like him anyway?
Perhaps I'm being a little hard on him, he is running a marathon for charity - so I'll rescind the git bit.
Nah, he's still a git. Only ManUre or Citeh so daddy can go and watch the games there himself with a clear, if bought, conscience. If he has no intention of supporting his home team and wants to watch a local side the make it Stockport County, Bolton, Bury, or Rochdale. Convince me he's not a glory-hunting soab. Unimpressed. Distinctly unimpressed.
