1 Who say`s it is a poor equivalent? it could be better!
2 You let Agger go for peanuts because you couldn`t keep him fit, how fit has Johnson been this season?
3 The club has the full group of players for the whole season, the national team has a mixed bunch for two weeks. It`s obvious really.

Probably because he is busy advising several national & international sides, travelling worldwide teaching thousands of people about fitness & writing books on the subject.

But obviously as he doesn't have an official role at one club he must be clueless...

Its not really obvious. Probably partly explains why England falter at international level if players are all having to change their training regime for 2 weeks every few months.

A guy called Zecharia Sitchen wrote many books about a planet called Nibiru that passes the Earth every 12000 years. It is where our Gods came from, you should read them, thousands of people buy and believe them.
I am not sure he is right though.

One of the few scholars able to read and interpret ancient Sumerian and Akkadian clay tablets, Zecharia Sitchin (1920-2010) based his bestselling The 12th Planet on texts from the ancient civilizations of the Near East. Drawing both widespread interest and criticism, his controversial theories on the Anunnaki origins of humanity have been translated into more than 20 languages and featured on radio and television programs around the world

Good for him. Now tell me something that's relevant to what I said.

Do you really think that changing their training routine for two weeks (which probably ammounts to five days) makes them play ****?
How do you think other national teams get around this, i never seem to see any controversy from other country`s.

Writing books does not make you an expert (already said this), so why has he not been snapped up by a top club, maybe he will be at Anfield soon?

Other national teams get around it by not having Roy Hodgson.

Maybe there is more money to be made travelling around giving lectures & taking on a lot of advisory roles rather than being a fitness coach at one club.

According to 5Live, sterling never used the phrase 'too tired' either. He answered a series of questions put to him by Hodgson, and it was HODGSON who used this expression to the press. So I suppose we're still waiting for that historical first.

Does that go for all these ****ing know-alls infesting cyberspace at the moment claiming that, despite never kicking a ****ing football professionally in their lives, if they were paid 'millions' each week they would never get tired. And they know, you know, as they have to get up and get a bus in the rain at 6.30 each morning, and they're never off that phone in the call centre ringing unwary housewives at all hours about the recent car accident that they never actually had.

You've obviously had the pleasure of meeting management consultants too.

  14. 1) I say it is. Feel free to prove otherwise ;)
    2) Agger wasn't let go because of his injury record. If so, why did he not leave five years ago? <doh> He left because he wanted first team football and he wasn't first choice at Liverpool. Wages may have been a part of it too but I don't know for sure on this.
    3) Notice you didn't answer my question at the end of my comment :)

No but all the qualifications he probably has makes his opinion on it far more valid than yours or mine and probably Roy's <ok>

Tiredness is not the same as being physically unfit ffs <laugh>

............and another one who simply has no answer to my simple question.......as it's simply never happened

  19. Or I had no interest in your question because that wasn't what we were discussing.

Since you like a question...if you are tired, are you in 100% top notch condition and firing on all cylinders?

Roy Hodgson should give consideration, if the player is unfit or tired, especially Liverpool have more players in the National team than any other Premiership club. Probability of injury to players is also
higher for Liverpool because of number of their player in the national team.
