Can't argue with that. Had he played for England he'd probably have had twice as many caps, what with the ridiculous pressure on every player to play every game, and still **** all international medals to show for it, just a load of pointless injuries that could have cost us.

Won nothing with Wales + won everything with Utd >>> Won nothing with England + won almost everything with Utd ;)

Hodgson is a grade A prick.

Why in the hell are the FA giving the England job to wasters like him?
Has he ever won **** all in English football?
    Beggars belief.

Cos no other successful manager would take the job? The last two successful international managers to have the job both got hounded out by the press / FA, is there any wonder we can't get a decent manager for love nor money?

Maybe the dippers management have at lon last learnt that if you overwork youngsters, its a recipe for constant injuries. Michael Owen is a classic example of being burnt out too early in life

It's club v country. Club pay the wages, but get sod all in compo if a player is injured. Even though he plays for the dippers, he had the right to claim he was unfit. But typical of our press, we have to blow it out of all proportion
