Your coach stood in his way like a **** barking at him when Wenger never stood in his area, Wenger was defending himself from an arrogant prick, simple as that.

How dare Jose stand in HIS own technical area.
What do you mean Wenger never stood in his area? Thats not even debatable, Wenger was in the chelsea technical area, he has admitted as such, and anyone with eyes who was watching the game could see that

You really are deluded if you think that's what happened.

Is this really going to turn into an argument? Everyone thinks Jose is a total **** and so obviously no-one is upset about him being pushed. Infact the general consensus seems to be "if only he'd hit him". Not just from our fans but fans of other teams as well!

If someone acts like a scummy **** for long enough that's how they end up being treated, which mourinho is finding out!

This is one of those happy occasions where I can be anti-Arsenal and Chelsea in one event <cheers>

Wenger should be ashamed of himself for losing his cool like that, let himself and his club down. However, Mourinho's constant goading of him was bound to explode one day (should have been verbally behind doors) and I have zero sympathy for him on this. He was asking for it.

Ahh, that makes it ok then.

No manager should physically lay their hands on another, end of subject.

Not that I make a habit of agreeing with a Spud, but SD makes a valid point. You can't continue to goad someone and not expect a reaction. I know you are backing your manager but Maureen has been behaving without class for quite some time, and it's not just with Chelsea that we're talking about.

This is football and not an episode from WWE. Maureen loves to play the pantomime villain and can't possibly play the innocent card.

I have always condemned Mourinho for any wrongdoing, and I think most on here should be doing exactly the same re Wenger - not saying things like he should have decked him <doh>. Wenger hasn't exactly been a saint throughout their rivalry either, the blame can't be solely placed on Mourinho.

Of course Wenger hasn't been a saint but I can't remember the last time he went after a manager recently, whereas your boss decided to reignite the flame by calling him a specialist in failure. Even Fergie hadn't baited Wenger for ages too. I can't tell if it's a rivalry thing or he just enjoys doing it. Although it can be funny, they are managers after all and should set a proper example. Your boss clearly sets a bad example and has done with Chelsea, Inter, Real and Chelsea again.

Again, I haven't once denied that OR defended him for it. My point here is nobody should be defending a manager laying their hands on another, regardless of who they are, and that if the shoe were on the other foot Arsenal fans would be up in arms.

There is an element of vigilante justice that pleases a lot of people even if they know it shouldn't be happened. Let's face it... who didn't enjoy seeing Gerard Butler carving the murderer up in Law Abiding Citizen? Or Denzel Washington exploding a criminal's ar5e in Man on Fire.

If someone who is massively disliked gets something unpleasant done to them, then a lot of people will enjoy it... maybe those at the FA too. It might not be right, and it might set a bad example to those watching... but heck it is satisfying.<party>

If the shoe was on the other foot... then meh, it would be wrong and set a bad example (just like it is with Wenger doing it)... but it probably wouldn't be accepted so much by the footballing community, mainly because far more people think Mourinho is a tool than Wenger.

But you can't have it all... let's face it, we'd all rather have a disliked tool managing our club who actually knew how to play winning football in the 21st century, than a slightly more likeable dinosaur who had no clue how to build a winning team any more.

Love your last comment and this itself show the hypocrisy that many people have. When it comes to winning nobody cares about the innocent, whether it be sports or life in general. You can justify it all you want, but when its wrong its wrong. It takes a bigger man to own up and speak out against wrongdoing and oppression.

Oppression? They have made a few snide comments about each other.
Its not like Jose drove the Chelsea bus through wengers front window, beat him within an inch of his life and gang raped wengers wife with the chelsea squad whilst he was bound and forced to watch.

Wenger accused Jose of making excuses in case he failed to win a trophy, and Jose called him a specialist in failure....I see no oppression there.
Same as before with the voyeur ****.....Wenger sticks his massive beak in where he shouldn't (probably goaded by journalists no doubt) and Jose over reacts and makes a stupid personal comment in retaliation.

Wenger should just shut up about Chelsea, and Jose should just shrug it off and say "Look at the league table bitch, look at my trophy collection bitch, license, registration, Urine sample....."

I doubt there are many Arsenal fans that would actually agree with this. They've been conditioned into the mindset that it is more 'noble' to play nice football and lose, rather than to occasionally play ugly football and win.

Oppression? What are you talking about, get real. This is football... a game. And we're talking about one manager being a bit more of an idiot than the other.

You trying to link a couple of millionaire idiots in a game to actual genuine oppression takes away from those that really suffer from it.
