Just booked a cheap one day return to France via the Euro tunnel. Chance to collect cheapo vino in time for Christmas. £40 return for the car & up to 9 passengers.

If you buy tobacco it is cheaper in Belgijm, just drive up the coast to a village called adinkirke

 

Why would you take 9 people with you, surely thats just taking up beer/wine space?

 

9 passenger limit. Pfft. There will be at least 11 potential French strikers attached to the Underbelly & 6 on the roof rack. On yer retun.

 

There's only Me & the Mrs. If they cover the £40 they can have a seat in the back.

Is it still worthwhile? I don't smoke but I like a beer! I just thought the reason pubs were closing down was because the booze is so cheap here?
