Aye, remember when sterling was shattered a few games into the season because he had been overplayed due to poor management from rodgers? Remember how januzaj is being developed properly, not getting burnt out and like all good managers, isnt expected to be the savior now but os there to learn.... You didnt did you? You should have.
Why not play him more V's the piss easy start teams you had then? Surely play him V the 'lesser' teams
Considering VG is known for blooding young players early [Muller at Bayern and Iniesta at Barca] it looks like Januzaj is being frozen out, not being 'developed' - I see a loan request coming in from him.
Frozen out? You guys love to ramble on about bollocks. Last season moyes in his desperation played him game after game. When the busy period came at christmas he was nowhere to be seen as moyes couldnt manage hisngame time. Van gaal has made januzaj the number one sub. Hes played almost every game so him being frozen out is not really the case. Hes being managed much better this season. Sterlings being managed very badly.
'' Former Manchester United winger Keith Gillespie thinks Adnan Januzaj is struggling to fit in at the club because of the system that Louis van Gaal uses. Van Gaal has favoured using the 3-5-2 formation this season and Gillespie feels that Januzaj maybe frozen out of the Dutchman’s team because that system doesn’t allow for attacking wingers like the Belgian international.'' Anybody can see the rise and rise of Sterling under Rodgers management - and I'm someone who isn't fully convinced overall about Rodgers - so to say he's being badly managed by him is laughable. Him, Suarez and Sturridge had an amazing chemistry and now Suarez has gone we're still waiting on Sturridge to reignite his partnership and we'll see if the two can do [almost] as much as the three did.
Its a long time since he used 352 and hes used it about 10 times in his career. Safe to say keith knows absolutely **** all about what hes talking about. Rodgers is well on his way to being found out this season. Hes hoping sturridge or sterling bail him out but ots not going to plan yet. Bring out the envelopes i say.
He clearly hasnt. Weve been 442 diamond in all pur recent games. He played the first few as 352 amd suddenly its his number one formation. Just because sky are thick and line us up as 352 doesn't mean that what we played. Out of 7 the first 3 were 352. Hasnt been seen since.
Divine intervention formation when you consider that WHAM's goal should've stood. Its obvious Fergies working flat out behind the scenes while the 'Iron Tulip' gets to grips on how to influence officials #manyooway
He hasn't fella. Certainly not in the last few weeks as we've not had 3 available centre halves. He's been forced to play 4 at the back which has included a left back and a child in the middle. Who knows whether he'll revert to 3-5-2 when Smalling, Evans and Jones are fit.
You're either a proper WUM or you revel in advertising your dumbassness! We've very obviously had 4 at the back in the last few games! Who's been our third centre half?! They've all been injured to the point that LVG has had to bring an U21 player into the team to partner Rojo!
Yeah you mentioned the back 4 in a post 8 mins before this one <yawn> Repeating oneself is losing the plot, do you feel okay? #meltdown
Woy insisted on playing Studge in the Spring, when clearly fatigued and carrying an injury, in a friendly when he needed resting. Woy insisted on overtraining Studge again this August, again needlessly, resulting in an injury that has seen him miss a month of football (you're not denying that, are you?), and subsequently increasing yet more pressure on Rodgers to use a player he wants to rest more, especially after the departure of Suarez. To top that all off, in two 'qualifying matches' that even the likes of Jones and Smalling wouldn't be stretched by the opposition, Woy insisted on using his top players even if they were clearly fatigued and not needed. I can forgive Bron's desperation (though he still has @ £50m burning a hole in his pocket by his own reckoning, and the likes of Lambert, Markovic and Balotelli are hardly relieving the need to keep playing Raheem) for his reasons to keep playin Sterling; but Woy, the Switzerland game apart, just doesn't need to keep using his already over-used top players. especially as his understanding of players' physiology and psychology is rooted in the 70's.
Go on, you watch us a lot and know our team, name the three at the back for the last four games. educate us please
How does Sturridge being injured make Sterling have to play more? they play a different game. See Gerrez about the highlighted bit, he insisted to me that National managers should use there best players in every game to get them used to playing together and try different systems (unless that was just in Giggs case)
Because although they may play different positions, they are the 2 most creative players in the squad (as Coutinho is off form at the moment). Playing both of them is obviously ideal, but we can get by (sometimes) with just the one. However, as Sturridge has been injured, we've not been able to rest Sterling as that'll be the 2 most creative and dangerous players out of the team.
