Subtle dig at "Never Liverpools fault" can be seen as a similar comment that others like to come out with "Always the victims, never your fault"
If genuine mistake and/or what you wrote is not meant to be read like that, then I apologies...

I'm clicking on here. If you think I was referring to what I think you are, I wasn't.

I have a fear of heights and did a parachute jump and got nearly £400 for it. No, it wasn't deliberate.

That offer of a pint still stands btw.

Absolutely. Which is why I clearly said that it was merely my opinion mate.

I based it on the recent previous between Hodgson and Rodgers, together with the fact that I can't recall a young player who's just become an Engalnd regular, ever turning round and saying they were too tired to play / train during mid camp on an International break.

Too coincidental by far for me

    Is that documented fact?

As I'd not heard that, and it puts a different context on the Sturridge injury for me.

So you think Rodgers is the one who put pressure on Raheem?

In which case, so why did Roy come out and make a private conversation public, knowing full well that Raheem would be the one receiving all of the criticism - not Roy or Brendan?

Raheem is the one who is caught in the middle but judging by your previous responses, you have little sympathy with the player but quick to blame Rodgers?
Unsurprising as both Sterling and Rodgers both play/work for Liverpool so your views are clearly biased against those two.

    Confused?

What a great thing to do. You see the football family all feel the hurt when something big happens.

I remember reading it on one of the reports in the weeks after the injury....I'll have a look back and see. Consider it speculation until I find who wrote it. I normally dont pay attention to the blog stuff other than for fun so I'm almost sure it was respectable (as journos go).

Edit, a quick search has Rodgers quoted in a couple of papers as saying he was injured doing Sprint work up to 50yards and shooting.

I'm almost sure it was Carrarger during a Twitter debate with England fans that mentioned the 11 aside match during training on that day

You might want to come on here more often .... just start off gently .... then drop the confrontational stuff in, not the other way round <cheers>

No point Frank, you can present iron clad evidence in front of Tobes but he still won't accept it if it's in favour of LFC's argument. <ok>

Roy could never prove that was the case, so he had a choice.

    1. Say he was resting Sterling, as he (Woy) felt he was not 100%

    or

    2. Come out and say exactly what the player had said, because he simply didn't believe what he was being told.

He chose the latter, which of course put pressure on the player, but maybe it was his way of teaching him a lesson.....

I said pages back, if the game on Sunday was you lot vs Madrid, would he have sat there moaning about being tired or would he have been as eager as hell to get on the pitch???

    The answer is rhetorical...........
