But you just listed the standouts who are still performing anywhere near decent enough. Hazard vs Bale = Bale. Lukaku vs Ramsey = Ramsey (he scored more last season), De Bruyne... I haven't actually followed him much but he was dire in the World Cup and misses sitter after sitter, Januzaj has had some good games for United and he is one to watch but he can't get in a pretty poor United squad so I am wondering if he has gone off the boil, I hope he has anyway because he looked darn good against us
The tighter the group, I can't help but feel that we'll be the ones that crumbles under pressure. At least from past experience, it seems the majority of our team are pretty good at blowing it. I'd prefer Belgium to man up and whoop everyone. If Bosnia get their mojo back, you may find those two end up running away with the group. However, I guess I do have more confidence in this Wales squad than any other, so it may not be so bad to think big
but they'd still definitely be in our starting 11 if they were Welsh. Let's just hope we can pull off a shock or two..
Although Bale can con jour goals from nothing he does need to remember he's part of a team - went for goal with a Welsh player open, well positioned and unmarked.
