  3. Just set the series link for that on the TiVo, did The Walking Dead too.

Watched the Arrow s3e1 tonight too. Good lively start, bit hard to keep up at times with it being so long since it was last on and it flashing about a lot. Good to see they're linking it up to The Flash though.

    Yeeeeehhhaawwwwww!!

    Love that show.
I know its not as well written or acted as some of the other big shows on TV (namely everything on HBO and Showtime), but I just can't help loving me a bit of Zombie action with Grimes & Co. Apart from the Game Of Thrones, its the show I look forward to most when its coming back.

Seriously though guys, I implore you, watch the US version of Shameless, its better acted and written than anything the UK series ever did.

William H Macy, Emmy Rossum and Joan Cusack are awesome. Thats back in a couple months, you should catch up before it does, because its ****ing excellent.

I'll take a look at shameless as I like Macy he's always good.

Regarding The Walkind Dead I don't think there's a lot wrong with the acting or writting pretty solid show imo.

The acting not so much, I suppose, the writing tho......it does go all over the place sometimes.
I can appreciate the Walking Dead for what it is though.....Still love it.

For Shameless though, its hilariously funny, plus well written and some of the best acting I have ever seen, its also very poignant.
The UK version was kinda like, we're poor but we don't care, we'll get by.
In the US it's balls to the wall, if we don't get this done, we don't ****ing eat!! But it still maintains its humour.

And Emmy Rossum, who plays Fiona, my god, amongst all those great actors, she outshines them all, she is a proper star.....

  11. I think that with Arrow. Its very poor script and acted but its a great, almost like a naughty pleasure <laugh> I didn't think there was much wrong with the script or acting on WD though.

I loved Shameless so I tried to watch the American version of Shameless, I thought it was awful. Same for other things thats been adapted too.

It was okay for a couple seasons, but nah.....not a patch on Gervais I am afraid.

The American Shameless is excellent. The first season is more or less a copy of the first season of the UK Shameless (including some episodes that are Word for word copies), but after season 1 it goes in its own direction.
Macy is a great actor, Joan Cusack is always great to watch and Emmy Rossum is a revelation.

Premiere of TWD was really good. Although I'm not sure I'm enjoying how much they're deviating from the comics. It's all quite confusing with the renaming of stuffs. Terminus is The Sanctuary so this should be where Negan is but he's not being introduced till much later when, so I've read, the action has moved away from Terminus/The Sanctuary. And is the baseball bat that made its appearance in that scene Lucille?? Guess you're fine if you've no interest or knowledge of the coms.

That ship sailed at the end of season 1 when they went to the CDC and Shane Survived.
I like it to be honest. If I want the comic I'll read the comic.
Adaptations should go one of two ways, either stay faithful (as Game Of Thrones did up until the end of season 4, when the last 2 eps ****ed it up) or go the opposite direction like TWD and True Blood did and made the series its own thing.

  20. The Cheese / Warrington activities that you insistently blog for our viewing do not portray alike regular normal human being activities that one would consider doing to ones self :)
