Haven read 10 biilion comments on where is the 35m were promised..

You see Im on the fence with this one, now im pleased with the signings so far, and yes gosling and ben arfa are like new signings. Now do we want to go down the road of buying 10m luques or looking for 4m tiotes?

Also pardew states two more signings, who knows one could be 10m quid, why are we so pessimistic, weve made all these signings before the window has even opened!

We havent the appeal like the top clubs , yes we have a massive fan base a big stadium etc, but no european football, and small wage sructure, its laughable to suggest Gervinho will come our way from a club who are playing CL next season.

Personally i would prefer an astute wage structure and sound business behind the club because lets face it thats what this football is now a business. And as much as ashley is tight, we are in the best position financially for years. Pardew for me has made some good signings. A bit of flair and creativity added.

And yes a dip in the 35 mill would be nice but until necessary rather than splash 10 mill on carlton cole for the sake of it.

We all know the obvious, we lack depth, and hopefully a couple more signings will be good. The fact is we have spent little but brought in some decent players, in the past the only free we would be getting is some nobody from a lower league.

We have a couple of high earners to get rid i.e smith and xisco, but for me were doing well getting a sound structure in place.

The constant negativity surrounding players that have come here for free and I reiterate for FREE, we know if marveux is crocked we havent wsted 10 mill on him. Sadly a mistake we made on Owen.

lets see what the next month brings in , the window has only just opened but what Pardew has got in so far, i cant grumble too much.

Lets not jump on the "mike fat and greedy" parade, thats old now , lets see what they bring in , sure that 35 million isnt going very far and we knew that but do we have to keep asking? He has a business model in mind, and personally hes not doing a bad job.

We do try to stay positive.

It's just we have had many a false dawn and we'll ALWAYS expect something to go horribly wrong.. just around the corner.
