United carried on winning after Keane left. Despite Chelsea and City having a massive financial advantage, United carried on winning. Fergie must have known what he was doing.

Edit.... Got back to winning when mourinho ****ed it up

Utds achievement was last cl really built on a front 4 with Ronaldo in it. Keane was really done. He just didn't want to admit it and holds a grudge over money nothing else

It took Fergie a couple of seasons to catch up with Mourinho's very expensively assembled Chelsea side but he did it. Mourinho was sacked soon after, understandably. Fergie saw him off, no question.

So Keane had a reputation that was as clean as the driven slush which he gloried in. All I said was that if he had met any of the 'enforcers' in their prime he would have found that he had bitten off more than he could chew. As far as I am concerned that is a fact and also praise to all those skilful players who managed to display their skills despite their presence

As for the PL and the 'cleaning-up of the game' then it can equally be argued that all it has managed to do is to make the game more of a parody of itself. We now have more players who actively cheat and feign injury, where pace appears to have more value than skill. You somehow assume that the hard men of the past spent the majority of the game enforcing which is just not true.

So I had no need to backtrack whereas your understanding of the game pre-PL is demonstrably lacking.

Oh yeah you won loads and loads since that.

For the record 2 leagues and on league cup sine 2009

Both leagues? Virtual walk overs. The Last league title was basically city falling apart under madcini, the first league had the lowest point total in many many years on 80 points to land it. Chelsea bought Torres and f'd it right up

So yeah since conaldo left you you've really kicked on well done...... You maintained a certain level so when others f'd up you capitalised but you've fallen away in Europe and domestically compared to the days of Roy Keane and the winker.

Fact is ferguson phoned it in last 3 years, had short term Sussex while players aged and he left you an awful state and then a nice legacy of moyes too

Now it's lashings of cash at anything that moves to catch up but you will find Chelsea have built a bit of a conveyor belt of talent and city have stabilised under a top manager too

Don't be telling me back the very point I made about Ronaldo, the only reason you won anything after Chelsea imploded is the frontline I described and of course picking up the pieces after he left

As fir ferguson seeing anyone off Pah you are a revisionist. Ferguson and utd had nothing to do with internal fighting at Chelsea. You won that title when anchelotti went purely for the same infighting broke out and don't even dare claim that one either

If it was that easy to win those two titles then other teams should have had a crack at it!

Don't know what Sussex has got to do with it though. Is that where you're from?

Roman "trigger happy" Ambrovich saw him off and SAF would of been grateful given his head to head record against Maureen!!
