United carried on winning after Ronaldo left! It took Fergie a couple of seasons to catch up with Mourinho's very expensively assembled Chelsea side but he did it. Mourinho was sacked soon after, understandably. Fergie saw him off, no question.
So Keane had a reputation that was as clean as the driven slush which he gloried in. All I said was that if he had met any of the 'enforcers' in their prime he would have found that he had bitten off more than he could chew.
