At this time normally with just a couple of games to Chelsea away the fixture would have a couple of streams running. This fixture could be ripe for an emotional surge.... On the day, it is the emotional away day. I have been to most since 1981. Always incidents in and out of the ground. Last time few times since we played them - we have beaten them at home - the best moment from Wright - Phiilips since joining us..- and our more hooligan element went into one of the main Chelsea bars from lunchtime one the day of the evening match and prevented Chelsea fans from drinking in their own bar on match day. So a few predictions of possible outcomes... Another random injury forces wright phillips in from training to start a game - he scores (possibly a hayrick - supplied by Adel and two legends are born We get spanked - more than 6 - 0 - the Chelsea fans let us know how bad we are - - Rednapp hears the full venom of rage filled QPR fans and his position with the fans at future games is untenable, given the emotion Instead of Wright Phillips and instead say Vargas / OBZ / Austin / Adel and the energy is huge - hero for the rest of the season We draw or win by heavens grace and Harry is given a lifeline by the fans and the board - new confidence surges over the fans and the club and we stay up, beating chelsea at home as well and becoming their bogey team as we also beat them in the cup this season. Oh well....
Sorry all Been a recluse for a bit but have been keeping up with most daily posts. Hope all are well and what a difference a few weeks make? Still remember like yesterday the day at Wembley meeting up with a few of you and having the best day out watching Rangers for many years. Chelsea are very good this year and although they seem to think its our 'cup final' its mainly those lot from SW6 that are going on about this game more than us. Still gutted about Remy but if he wants to bench warm and listen to the rubbish Jose speaks then good luck to him. Can't see us getting much out of this game but agree with Westlondonlalala in that the last time we were there Rangers took over the place. Would never have happened back in the day but times have changed. Never forget seeing all those Chelsea fans doing a 'fire drill' and disappearing into the streets being goaded by Rangers fans. My highlight was the Chelsea fan dressed up in all the gear complete with a flag (I kid you not) who actually asked me where the ground was? Fortunately for him I had been before and showed him the way. Under Redknapp I cannot see us getting anything from the game other than taking the P out of the Chelsea fans. Anyway it should be another waste of my money but I live in hope that Remy does not score the winner. Ellers PS Chelsea are still 'mu##ets'
