Wigan Rugby player Ben Flower punches a Saints player K.O, then punches Lance Hohaia whilst unconcious. Should there be repurcussions.? Is this behaviour O.K in a game of sport? Any body seen it?.Any thoughts? Joey Barton giving his support to Ben Flower.
A push then a retaliatory punch which put hohaia out cold then another punch ( bad one ) while he was sparked! Very bad! Good game though.
If this happened during a football match he would be banned for life. But rest assured the RL will ride this one out on the old 'it's man's game' ruse. (excuse)
it's a family game, you know. i expect st helens will have been happy to play 99% of the game against 12 players.
Those who haven't seen it: ****ing idiot. He's gonna spend some time away from Rugby...
Try doing that in town on a night out, see what the consequences are then. I don't understand why it's not a criminal act just because it's on a sports field.
Roy Keane kicked people in the head. Cantona kicked a spectator in the chest. Alan Pardew ?, Suarez eats people ffs ! Let's not get too high and mighty eh ?
First punch was fair game, Hohaia elbowed him. Second was just cowardice. Punching someone on the floor who's out cold. I see rugby fans post about the diving and play acting, but I never much when a rugby playing does a chicken wing tackle, a grapple tackle, spear tackle and a cannonball tackle. They both trying to cheat to gain advantage, but only one would cause serious damage.
This. Where do you draw the line? The bloke who was chinned would have to make a complaint for starters. No chance there.
just seen a vid of some aus thug called duncan macrae thumping a lions player 11 times while he was on the floor some years back, he got sent off and given a seven week ban. seven weeks is a pat on the back.
I know I should be outraged, but I'm really not. I'd rather be punched in the head than bitten by a **** with dodgy teeth.
if you were playing a cup final and one of the opposition makes his hopes that your team wins in such a blatant way you'd have to thank him.
