As Ricciardo stops, Red Bull seem to be having a lot of mechanical issues. We are probably now at the point where their early season problems are catching up on them.
william Hill gave odds of evens for Lewis Hamilton to top FP2 so my cheeky £5 turned to £10 Now what are the odds for Pole, race win, President, galactic overlord and Christmas #1... hmmm
I hate this track, people have compared it to Valencia but IMO, it's more like that stupid Las Vegas car park track.
It is pretty horrible to look at on tv. It is like somebody has went over Valencia with some red, white and blue paint off the track. In fact.....dare i say that i think if anything, Valencia looked better? At least there was the odd glimpse of the docks etc around there, Russia just seems to be buildings that they have tried to jazz up with Christmas decorations....
The McLarens looked decent in practice and also looked decent at Suzuka I wonder if it's just a coincidence that they appear to be picking up speed since Peter Prodromu started work early?
I feel conflicted... Caterham are terrible, Ericsson was terrible... why are they suddenly actually doing good again?
Hahahaha Vitaly Petrov is complaining about F1 being about the money and not the driver's talent get out of here.
I had would have got £14 if he had put it on the front row. Am sending an invoice to Williams.......
On the contrary, I was under the impression that sponsorship was proving hard for him to secure in order for him to continue in F1 and that was why he was left without a seat. I'd certainly not call him a pay driver; I thought he was under-rated. Anyway, quali was stupendous fun: no home crowd nerves for Kvyat, certainly! Excellent stuff. I'd love to have seen Bottas split the Mercs; I wanted pole for Lewis, of course. Very good from the McLarens too in the end but can they translate these into results?
