You can sod off!! I'm certainly no Yakkybaa. As for my Christian name, it actually means Beloved of God and I know for certain that my parents chose it with no thought at all for the land where I'm told "Harry's got an 'orse!"
Dafydd would have the same meaning since it is derived from the same source name. They're both derived from the Hebrew name Dawid (David in English version- Dafydd in Welsh)- bit like how John, Ian, Juan, Ianto, etc all derived from a common Hebrew name (Yohanan). I know you're not Welsh - I was being silly; commenting on the accusation that you are Welsh that your name would be ForedeckDafydd if you were Welsh.
I know all of that! Don't know why but somehow even being called a Daffy Duck in jest is just too much (sorry luv)
I actually quite like Wales! I love the mountains in North Wales- and there were a couple of girls I fancied back in school who were Welsh that may have made me more amenable to the Welsh and fashioned a positive view of them in my mind. Maybe I left home too soon before I discovered the truth about the Welsh.... before I learnt that not all Welsh women are hot! / Catherine Zeta Jones though... just wow! // No didn't go to school with her... I'm not that old... but still!
Gots me some brand new laptop speakers today. Having eargasms after living with just the built in laptop ones for yonks.
