Mafia 3 Game Thread: KGB Won

What might be useful is if each person lists the others under suspicion and what there thoughts are:

I think the IBWT/Lucaaas link doesn't prove IBWT's guilt because he was just making a coinflip. If they are both guilty perhaps Lucaaas was the more important one (recruiter) who needed saving. I know I am not and if a conversion happens tonight then sky and afc are still not the recruiter though.

So my best list of recruiter targets is; Gerrez, Magic, Lucaaas, Danilo. Which doesn't help much.

But if we miss the recruiter tonight he becomes just another KGB anyway so maybe it's not worth worrying too much about him.

We have a 5/6 chance of losing this round #doomed

 

*As a note* (don't think it affects anyone's strategy so safe for me to observe on here)

Even if town hits a non-recruiter KGB member. Yes, town could lose a team-member to the recruiter, HOWEVER, town also take away the KGB's ability to recruit. As long as the recruiter lives- KGB kinda already have 4 members... it's just that one of them doesn't know it yet!

If you think of it this way: KGB currently have 4 members. 3 active, 1 potential member who is not yet active.
If town kills recruiter- they kill two. An active, and an inactive one (who will now never be active).
If town kills non-recruiter KGB they kill one. KGB would now have 3 active. 0 Potential recruits.


Hit Recruiter- big victory for the night for town.
Hit other KGB- minor victory for the town
Hit town- major victory for KGB.

Yes not much of a victory. I'd rather it killed the potential KGB than the active KGB since the potential will be invisible in the voting patterns, plus we lose the sky/afc info.

 

Oh and BTW, the no vote option changes everything and should be made more clear.

That means night 1 innocents all make no vote and let their journalist/cop do their investigation. In later rounds you can also stall for more investigations. It puts pressure on the bad guys to make things happen, stitch people up etc.

Right now it's so ****ing easy for a bad guy to not even log on and say they were busy.

 

Going for danilo today again. Don't think he's been under much pressure yet and the second he was yesterday all he did was revenge vote which seems odd behaviour at this stage of the game.

you wrote this earlier guys. hit kgb its 2/5 then prob 3/4 right after. if you hit town its 3/4 with conversion left tomorrow. if you hit recruiter its 2/5 with 2 free masons

 

IMPORTANT HOST COMMENT

Since the forum appears to be having problems for some users- I may, if need be, tweak certain things in the best way to maintain fairness. I will try and do this in the most fair and balanced way possible- but I don't want to place the game on hold until everyone can access the forum as normal.

I will only do this where required and when required. I may not post what changes on here (because that could give away someone's role)

For example where I might "tweak things".

* If one of the freemasons cannot connect and is unable to post I might allow the other freemason to recruit without consent from his teammate.
* If KGB recruiter cannot connect and is unable to post- I might allow the recruiter and one of his teammates to swap team-roles. (obviously if any have votes against them or about to be lynched I wouldn't do this- it would have to be an "at night" swap)


If you feel your team has been negatively impacted by the current forum issues- PM me and let me know how- and I will see if there is a fair way to redress the problem.

I don't want any one team to be punished by the fact that any one teammate cannot access this website due to the ongoing "malware" alert that pops up on some peoples PCs preventing them to be able to log in.


I hope everyone is OK with this. I don't like doing this- but it seems necessary to remain fair. Also wanted to post this on here so everyone is fully aware that this might happen.

2. very exciting end in store here. its good. i would say tense 2nd and 3rd day we need to ensure everyone enjoys it

 

So IBWT is the first to break the deadlock.... We had it at one a piece which seemed to be the consensus. Gerrez, IBWT and Lucaaas are KGB or at least two of those 3 are.

I voted revenge because other than Sky and AFC who are town and I refuse to vote for, I've got a pool of not too many to choose from. Excluding myself it leaves a handful of people and anyone who is KGB knows I am not - so a vote for me is absolutely suspicious. I don't have dubious links with people in this thread which should tell you something. A Towny would not risk voting for a lone wolf at this stage either. Its too much of a risk.

If I'm voted out its game over - town would need to hit recruiter and play perfectly till the end of the game.

 

Only reason I voted for Danilo was so it was one vote each. Therefore, as he's the only one left other than Sky and AFC, I change my vote to Astro

If I was KGB at this stage I'd be voting for one of my own team. It lessens the link between them and also with the votes spread so thinly means a late vote change kills a townie and guarantees safety for one of there own.

Unfortunately everyone seems to have voted for someone within there own little group of links I can see between people....
