As a notts based Norwich fan I would like nothing better than to watch the yellows play against Forest and Derby.Having looked at the away ticket requirements I can see that I have little chance of securing one. I have been offered a home seat (for both)and may take it as a last resort. Can anyone cheer me up and tell me why I wouldn't want to go anway ?

As a fellow yellow in Nottingham, I can testify that it will be expensive, I have from time to time joined the locals. They were a quiet bunch the last couple of times too. Spend the £30 quid on some wings down at hooters! I have my fingers crossed that some snakepit season ticket holding friends will come through for me.
Other things to cling to, we'll almost definitely not score and go behind in the first half.

    Bah!

I hate sitting with away fans too Notts and as you can see I come from the county to your South. Perhaps we can work something out?
I would prefer the Bridgford End of push came to shove.

Registered my interest today for an away ticket, nice young man practically told me that I had wasted my time on a phone call (I had registration issues that's why I called). I'm thinking I may go down my local where I spend most Saturday afternoons and wind up as many Forest fans as I can.

Oh O.K., it is a problem these days. Your plan sounds like a good one.

Found out this morning, I shall go to the ball! Tickets confirmed this morning can't wait. Where's your local Notts Yellow? Any where we might want to pop by after the match?

    Bah!

It's the Victoria or Crown in Beeston (sometimes Hop Pole or Star) we are blessed with several real ale houses here.

Looks like I may be going to the ball after all, but with a handful of forest fans so should be good for a laugh.

I know the Victoria, top ales pub, I think we were more thinking central though, may take in a few central central pubs and then work our way up canning circus to the organ grinder.
    Bah!

Blue Monkey hey. Marmoset is still top unfortunately the BG has become highly varaible. Ape Ale is quality but at 5.4 hardly a session beer. By the look of your track are you Wollaton based or further out J26 etc.
