I'll be getting this. Although Morgan will probably hand in a transfer request within days of taking over.
Will inevitably buy this, especially as I don't have a next-gen console to justify buying FIFA15. Not a fan of the look of the new user interface, though.
1) Players are so dumb & fail to react to long balls 2) Keepers concede far too many goals directly from corners 3) Keepers concede far too many goals from crosses (dive on the ball and somehow ricochets into the goal) 4) Strikers form is so inconsistent, no matter what their attributes. e.g: Diego Costa got a goal a game in my first season with Atletcio, he signs a new contract and got 14 goals in all competitions the next season, playing a very similar role both seasons. 5) Strikers with **** attributes tend to make top goalscorer ( 12 finishing & 9 composure = top goalscorer in Serie A) These are just a few things I've thought of off the top of my head at work. As much as I hate the Engine at times, I know I'll buy FM15 and session it hard until FM16.
I'll add some; 6. New interface? PULL THE OTHER ONE!!!! Every two years they shuffle the toolbar from one side to the other and orgasm over the change. 7. The biggest overhaul of graphics since the induction of 3D... Zzzzzzzzzzzz same as above. The stadiums are a nice touch, but honestly, watching the footage of a game, it looks way way worse than the first 3D game components, who were so generic and far away they didn't look like players, but they also didn't move like illogical robots. The new improvements look awful. 8. They added more interviews???? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Weakest part of the game possibly, is that they can only have a certain number of scripted-interviews, so very very quickly (one day playing) it becomes tedious, yet the game punishes you for not doing them. Adding more scenarios for interviews is just idiotic, although with good-intentions. 9. Steam. All I need to say. 10. Every game of FM is brought out with a major bug in it, which it takes 6 months to get a patch for. I remember my first FM with the 3D kept offering me international jobs, and I couldn't accept them 11. ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS Spurs rated too high, teams like Southampton rated too low, and when it comes to relegation, the bottom three are usually settled mid-season and pick-up about 60 points between them, meaning the rest of the league pulls away and the winners get some ridiculous once in a millennium score, only they do it every season...
Excuse my ignorance, but what is a Steam moan..? I assume it has nothing to do with water vapour at very high temperatures..?
Features video for Football Manager Classic mode (the streamlined version of FM)...
Downloaded and playing the beta version - my god, the new UI is horrifically bad, sorry. Glitchy, menus don't drop down properly, search function is fiddly now. Whole thing just feels like a badly thought out mess...
Just got hold of the book 'Football Manager Stole My Life' - anyone else read it? Wanted to read it for a while.
