When I am greeted by some of my lady friends I find that different ones do it in different ways.

Friend from Pinner says, "How you doing ducks?"
Friend from Kent says, "How are you darling?"

Are these regional things?

And a redwine for NZ as he is so ahead of us in time

We have a good clear day with over 8C and a small north wind. The forecast is cloud and sun but no clouds so far today.

We have been linked strongly with two footballers who have thrown their anchors in with Cardiff City and Charlton Athletic, a third player looks like doing the same again with Cardiff City, althogh I think Andrew Taylor was more a wish than a certainty. The coaching staff have all run away to Cardiff City needing new staff here in that area. I can see that Malky Mackay will want to have people around him he can work with and some of the moving players will be going to Cardiff City to join up with the manager they/we thought would be at Watford but isn't (tapping up I think is the expression for them). The situation is just difficult as the maelstrom that has been created by Malky moving will not settle too quickly. Also is the Watford way starting to cost us as the teams who do not conduct business in a proper manner are winning every time.

 

Thanks for coffee Ak - to an extent ethical clubs will always miss out to more aggressive ones shall we say - but maybe the players and people we then get are more prepared to play for us than for money

morning all. Thanks for the caramel latte Ak! Need that this morning, stressy day ahead, lots of studying of hebrew to do before tomorrow morning coz i've been dropped in the proverbial poop and have to take part of the service tomorrow...agghhhh! Very very scary! So will be nipping in here for some light relief now and then today!

Hello all! Long time no see. This week has been one of many goodbyes etc. So not had all that much time.

I feel as I have missed a lot - 2 appoinments to the staff and missing a LB *sigh*

sadly this is neither, it's a pushy parent, and if she wasn't a close friend, i'd refuse to take her daughter. Not happy about it one bit! And to be honest, i'd rather a pass any day of the week, i get more money from passes coz with passes come recommendations

Nope, not my fault, but it goes against the grain taking someone who isn't ready...and it also goes as a minus point on my numbers..i don't like that one bit!
